He isn't going to Bayern....
That's my point!
But nonetheless, there is no possibility of us signing him. He has turned down Chelsea and Real Madrid because his heart is set on playing for Bayern and nobody else.

I think we'll see 2 or 3 signings. Late but they'll happen. If you want my honest opinion, I think something has happened with Wenger and the board since Gazidis made that statement about having loadsa cash to spend. I get the feeling we aren't going to see much in the way of signings this summer.
Something is wrong.![]()
Only has to wait a year doesn't he?
If Bayern are using Guardiola's false 9 formation (they've been trying out Ribery and Robben through the middle), does that mean Mario Mandzukic is available? Would be an excellent signing, and would cost £20 million tops.
that will be in the same way that we were linked with Rooney , Higuain , Fellaini , Jovetic...all have slipped thru Arsenes greasy mitts .
"
Higuain would now be an Arsenal player had Wenger not baulked at paying Real Madrid an extra â¬2.3m and decided that, if he was going to spend a â¬29m fee, he may as well do so on Suarez, who he regards as a player of even greater quality.
Fellaini would also be an Arsenal player if Wenger sanctioned the â¬116,000-a-week contract that the player's camp feel he is entitled to. The Gunners have so far offered merely to match his â¬87,000-a-week Everton deal. "

Not sure about Fellani (sounds like bullshlaka) but I was under the impression that Higuain deal was agreed and Real increased the asking price from 24mn to like 34 million (presumably because that is what Napoli offered) which in that case fair enough to Wenger and CO.
According to John Cross of the Daily Mirror,Bernard was never a transfer target for us.Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro have accepted a £21.8m offer from Shakhtar Donetsk for midfielder Bernard, 20, although the player has yet to agree to a move to Ukraine. Arsenal and Porto are also interested in the Brazil international.

Another "transfer target" seems to be slipping away from us.
I know Arsenal like to do everything in secret but it's slightly worrying when the papers arnt even bothering to link us with anyone

Looks like Spurs have signed Soldado: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23531981 Soldado and Paulinho already.
Meanwhile at the Emirates sweet **** all. Great job guys!!!!! ****ing incompetent twats. **** off Arsene you gutless deluded old ****!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem is that statement before the transfer window even opened. We were hoping for Rooney, Fellani (who has now been linked to ManUre) and Higuain, the longer no one is signed the more the feeling is going to grow that this was jsut a PR exercise. I am not advocating signing anyone for the sake of it, but I do feel we could of been a lot more assertive in our dealings. To be honest the transfer side has not really been the same since Dein left.
We were never going to get Rooney. Only an idiot would believe that. Fellaini could happen but the guy doesn't deserve 110k/week+ wages. Higuain tbh could have happened but then Napoli got P$G cash and Real hiked the price so the club backed off. I still think we'll make 2-3 signings.
If we're paying Theo 100k a week, then Fellaini deserves that.
No he doesn't.
