Bolat signed for Porto today.

Was that the Turkish 'keeper? We seem to have been linked to so many obscure foreignors this summer I've lost track of who is who.

Oh and, has it been pointed out that Simon Moore went to Cardiff yesterday?

Yes he was the turkish keeper we were linked to.

Oscar, Hazard & Mata - £75m
Gareth Bale - £85m+

No surprise as to who is the better value for money like.

They need to. Not impressed at all with what they have done so far. They even chucked away a 2-0 lead @ Brentford last night to lose 3-2. <whistle> FC scored one goal though. ;)

Bale has apparently told Spurs he wants to go to Madrid.

Then let him go. I very much doubt that Bale will be as good again and Spurs need to maximise Bale now and ring every euro then can out of Real Madrid. £100m plus Modric back would be great business for Spurs. :emoticon-0103-cool:

NB. Real Madrid have yet to pay Spurs all that they owe for Modric according to SSN.

SSN, also report that Joey Barton will take a 50% wage cut to play for Everton. £35k a week sounds very fair to me for Bartons talent.

SSN now reporting that.....

West Ham Utd will have a £5m bid rejected for Norwich winger Robert Snodgrass.

Wolves have rejected a bid from Celtic for striker Kevin Doyle.

Southampton will miss out on a 25% sell on clause for any sale of Bale after they cashed it in during there last financial crises. But they could still get a figure of around 5% though. £25m down to £5m <yikes>

I don't know if we were ever truly interested in Sinan Bolat, he seemed far too good to be linked to us. It was probably just media linking us.

I really think we've missed a trick by not signing Simon Moore, I think he'll be a future England goalkeeper.

How many people said that when Ronaldo left Man Utd, cash in, he's had his best years. The way Madrid conduct their transfers is unreal, it must be bordering illegal.

That would be a great signing for them if it comes off, I really rate Caulker.

And robbie fowler as his strike partner... Ex international with bags of.... Etc etc

I'm not really sure what your point was. I wasn't saying we should sign Jenas just because he's experienced, it's just a part of him that would be useful to have. We could sign Joey Barton for PL experience, but Jenas is a very good footballer and would satisfy the demand for a solid CM.

Like I said... Jenas has not been able to use the injury excuse for a number of seasons now. The only recent stats of his that are impressive are his bench warming prowess.

Stats don't say everything about a player.
