I understand that. My thinking here is that, at the moment the club may feel that they were not prepared to sell to Arsenal for less than £50+ because of the direct competitor element. However, they may be prepared to sell to Madrid for between £40-50. Now if Bale goes to Madrid right now for more than say £70 then the figures that LFC would be looking for from Madrid would also rise accordingly.
That is my only concern regarding price and I agree that we'd probably sell for less to avoid selling to a rival. Especially as a knock on effect would be making it harder for us to get top four
The way things are dragging on, I can see Suarez playing for Liverpool at the start of the season. Liverpool want more, Wenger is tight and Real are after Bale. It all depends on if Suarez goes on a sulk....
That's what they all say.......I didn't know how to use it, I was just cleaning it & it went off officer.
Sky Sports. It's been suggested that the bid does not include any other Madrid player and it is suggested that it has been on the table for at least a week.
