who knows.... its very hard to say one way or the other. Marca are a total real mouth piece so anything printed is what real want to say. They printed they were not in for suarez but is that a tactic or it it the reality.... zindane did comment over a month ago that he would be the striker to buy but then real commented on they had enough strikers... they might loan one out in a week though.... in short there's so much stuff out there its impossible to really say one way or the other.
@gerrez That logic only works if its Madrid comming in for Suarez as well as Bale. If Madrid pay 40, 60, 90, or 125mil for bale it has no bearing on the price of Suarez if its a different club comming in for him. Obviously if Madrid spend £100mil on Bale and then come in and offer £30-40m for Suarez i could understand 'Pool expecting a larger transfer fee. But if Madrid don't come in for Suarez and land Bale it will no effect whatsoever on Suarez price.
and snow falls downwards. Your point? Gerrez clearly made the point about Madrid buying Bale first for 70m and then offering to buy Suarez for 40m, why are you even going on about other teams and that the fees are not relative, have you been reading the discussion?
They went bust anyway, the club would have still held the sell on rights when it came out of administration - it was a shocking decision by Lowe (who's a total cock, so hardly a surprise like)
They went into administration but they didn't go bust, they're still here! What if that £3m was the difference between surviving (by the skin of their teeth) or going to the wall? If they had gone bust (proper bust) then they would have been entitled to nothing because the company wouldn't exist and the credit would be written off. Still, I understand your point but the Southampton fans don't seem too bothered about it (that's where I found out about the 2% thing)
Liverpool and Spurs are in control...dictating the price (sellers price). In as much as Real Madrid wants play the financial rule, they are not willing to fall far behind Barcelona.. Interesting ! interesting !! , would like to see haw far they are going to go.
G, That may not be the case. Buy Bale now. The negotiations are going to take a few weeks. Liverpool have to fight off Arsenal so they are pre-occupied. The with only a matter of days/hours left make a take it or leave it offer for Suarez. Real know that they are not going to get bale on the cheap, but they might just get a cheaper than expected deal out of Liverpool. Obviously that assumes that they actually wanted Suarez in the first place. After all its only Suarez who has said he'd like to join Real and not Real saying that they want Suarez.
Thanks for explaining the difference between administration & liquidation mate - lol. The Southampton fans are only not seemingly arsed as they've got a Sugar Daddy at present, it doesn't alter the fact that it was a ****ing awful decision by Lowe given the chain of events.
@Gerrez I clearly mis-read your post I had thought you where saying that should Liverpool see Bale go for that much they would think Suarez could go for more. In your first sentence it mentioned both players but the second for me didn't quite connect with the first, not sure why rofl. My bad! @Sisu **** off you scummy little **** - your so rude. Some of the Liverpool posters are actually pretty decent - you just let down your fellow scousers. Allow me to make this incredibly clear for you - I have ZERO intention of conversing with you on any subject whatsoever, i find you totally incapable of holding a debate without trying to be a wind up and you ignore any form of logical reasoning. My reply was not to you and i'd be very greatful if you'd refrain from attempting any form of contact with me - Thanks!
But that would only work if Liverpool are looking to offload. If we are adamant that he stays unless our valuation is matched then they (Arsenal or Real) won't get him on the cheap. My point above was that Liverpool (for arguments sake) value Suarez at £50m. Real then buy Bale for £70m+. Do you think Ayre, Henry and the rest of FSG will ignore it? Or will they look and see a player (Bale) that had a lesser impact in the Premier League last season moving for more money than they are asking for for their player (Luis) and ask for more? Suarez won't go for more than Spurs want for Bale so Real buying Luis first wouldn't effect the Bale deal IMO
Sorry for telling you how to suck eggs but your comment made it seem like you didn't recognised the difference
No worries No need for that sort of language pal. Yes, Sisu was being sarcy and it could be construde as being rude but he didn't insult you
But right until the last moment, the Madrid factor will have an effect upon the Suarez valuation. Remember, Liverpool do not have to sell to anyone. As Suarez'z agent has not tried to refer the 'clause' matter to the Premiership or LFC take the issue to the High Court then the likelihood is that the clause itself is at least closer to LFC's interpretation. Therefore Suarez's price is for LFC to decide and that will be in the light of a possible Madrid offer. Hence even the possibility of an offer will have an effect.
Oh i agree totally that if there is a possiblity of Madrid comming in with an offer it will effect Suarez price - all the way to the last minute of the window tbh...
@Gerrez Not been up long so the insults flow more freely Apolagies for the language He is just such a wind up - it's constant everytime i post something, it's highly irritating when im actively trying not to talk to him because its clear he isa wum.
Oh wow - my first negative rep ever - and it wipes me out totally.... The joys of posting on the Liverpool board - how pathetic.
