Today I was rounded up for group disciplinary, where we got shouted at, at length, for chatting and taking too long on breaks. I've never ever taken a full 30 minute break, and they know that, even though it's the law that my 10 hour shifts should have 1 hour breaks. It's 30 degrees plus at work at the moment because the air-conditioning is broken, and people are near passing out in the heat. I stay past my hours, start early at no expense to the company to help out the tired and demoralized staff, and get on with my job to the best of my ability... Yet during the rant, the boss said "I'm not singling out anybody". Yes you f***ing are you c***, because not one of those in this group is over 25. You've picked the seasonal staff on purpose, because they are too afraid to answer back because you'll just sack them. I swear to god, they're going to rue the day I got a degree tomorrow when they read the ****-storm letter I'm pinning up in their lovely cool office
Just took a few days away to let feelings simmer. I apologise for any offence caused. It was not my intention to offend anyone, and I hope we can carry on posting as normal.
You tell 'em JPF. And I'm loving the new signature. I feel a "what has Ashley ever done for us?" conversation coming on.
Can't believe that shearers bar is still going after all these years. I remember the start on the old 606 in 2005
****ing HMR are useless. Rang them up months ago to sort out my tax code, and now my first full months pay has come in and I've been taxed over a hundred quid more than I should be. It kind of ruined my day. Was looking forward to seeing that I've got another grand in my bank after taxes, but came out with less than 900. Will have to sort that **** out and hopefully get a refund for next month.
Evening Tash. The tax man is a bell top indeed. I had to do my own tax return for 3 years cos he found I owed him £5 in unpaid interest tax one year. Utter joke it was.
