Some twats near me broke into the Welsh Mountain Zoo, took a rabbit from the children's zoo and threw it into the alligator enclosure.

The zoo had an option to press charges, but after a word with the local paper, decided not to. This meant that the paper was then able to print their names and photos legally, resulting in them being shouted at in the streets, having their houses egged, and other such things. They weren't punished legally, but socially.

Me and Rog the Todge's neg rep war continues to this day. I say "war" its more like daily pastime. I should really leave him be but I can't help but enjoy his anger. He created another thread in my honour accusing me of one starring all the Sunderland threads (it wasn't even me <laugh>). I don't think it was as good as his last one about me which carried a lot more vitriol and general hatred. His attempts to persuade ACS that my modship is misplaced were a very hurtful. And 100% accurate.

Some really sick people around. Pity they had nothing better to do. Just think how the poor kids must feel at seeing one of their favorite animals killed in that way.

Totally agree. The thing that really makes my piss boil is when you see stuff like "they've been banned from keeping animals for three years", why the **** isn't it life?! What possible justification can they have for allowing them to abuse animals again after three years. The very minimum should be a life ban that extends not just to keeping animals, but working with animals, children, the sick, the elderly, people with disabilities, basically anyone or anything in a position of vulnerability. They should be on an abuse register that every employer can look at when they apply for a job. ****ing scum bags. If I saw something like that I'd struggle to contain my anger, the very minimum I'd end up with is 5 years for GBH, but they'd get off with slapped wrists. It's ****ed up.
