Lull before the storm........ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rland-Hull-Di-Canio-continues-revolution.html
where's Chalobah going to end up? he must be going out on loan again. anyone know who is in for him. I thought he was brilliant last season, him and Bridcutt the 2 most effective CM's in the Championship.
I saw it the other day that he was one of three going out on loan. Chalobah, Piazon and someone else.
re Chalobah, surely they must have 4/5 CM's above him in the pecking order (Lamps, Mikel, Romeu, De Bruyne, Ramires, Essien) and if they play the same 4-2-3-1 as last year then he can maybe hope for bench at best and cup games. I think he's a massive talent but has got another years loan in him before he'll get close to breaking through.
I saw a story on SSN yesterday saying Chaboloah and Piazon are both available for loan, and they will both be going to Premier League clubs. Both would definitely be useful additions on loan.
I'd take Chalobah in an instant, he was probably the best CM in the league last season. Not really seen enough of Piazon, but if he was good enough to play for Malaga, then he's good enough for us. I'd have thought we'd be interested in Chalobah, he's fits our criteria well.
Chalobah can go out on loan again Jose Mourinho has confirmed this week along with a few others. I think that he will go back to Watford as he is not PL ready yet. Get your money on Watford winning the championship IF they can hold there nerve ?
Cattermole to Hull City = very likely but would he pass a medical? elsewhere: Jimmy Briand wasn't at Lyon vs Real Madrid last night (finished 2-2) so probably looking for a club.. is it true he turned us down or did Bruce choose Sagbo above him? Briand was popular with Lyon fans since a lot have his name on their shirts.
Stoke City being linked with a number of midfield players at the moment. Adel Taarabt from DQPR and Guadalahara midfielder Marco Fabian(24) top his list. Hhhhmmmmm SSN now reporting that Lyonwinger Jimmy Briand can leave and that Hull City and WBA are still interested. SSN also saying that Hull City have moved much closer to the signature of Ivory Coast striker Yannick Sagbo.
Briand apparently already turned us down, I doubt that will change but I suppose you never know. If we are going to play 3-5-2 then there isn't much point in bringing him in as he's never been deployed in a defensive role. That said, we need cover for the right side if we play 4-4-2. He'd probably want a fair whack in wages though. I'm happy with Sagbo coming in, I just hope he can score the goals to help keep us up.
I think it will be WBA that Jimmy Briand goes to myself when the dust has settled. With him and Scott Sinclair on the wings that is good for WBA. Do we really need Briand though ? Our need is now another goal getter.

Just about sums up that rumour. Journalists are running out of ideas, as our transfer activity seems to be nearing an end.
