We obviously don't know do we Tickler, it's obviously a mistake them thinking the deal is permanent.

It was in the sunday people for those who get it. It was part of an article about AVB signing El from AC Milan and it went onto talk about the players that had been sold. All British btw. Jake Livermore was part of the list.

As you say who knows.......but it should become clearer in January 2014.

Weekend media rumours have Steve Bruce looking @ Boltons Lee Chung-Wong.

Shane Long still yet to feature for Wba after the summer transfer window slammed shut.

Definitely think our Irish contingent will have had a word, would be very suprised not to see him come here in january, especially if we contue the way we are, the lad will be chomping at the bit to come.

See, if Bolton was the name of a man, that sentence suddenly becomes hilarious. Perhaps because my mate's last name is Bolton. I should warn him...

Agreed sir.

Word on the wire and from the ROI players is that Shane Long has already told Wba what he plans to do.

Wba have 2 options left. 1) Sell him for half of what they would have got (at most) or 2)Lose him for nothing next summer.

Shane Long has been out with a knee injury...that's why he's not even been on the bench. He wants to come here to play with the other ROI guys and for Bruce. We could possibly get him for under the 5 mill. price in January, depending on who else is in for him. Can't see him accepting a new contract from Clarke.
