He won't pass a medical. He pulls up everytime he does ballwork. He won't play for us again let alone anybody else. Don't worry about wages, insurance will cover it. But if he accepts it and calls it a day we can claim sooner and work with the free wages now instead of two years time. If Brown play another competitive game I will be staggered and amazed.

Mavrias fee is interesting. €3m fee, then €250,000 per year over the next 4 years should be play 20 games (all comps) in that year.

I'm really keen on this one, for all that I've seen is that one You Tube clip of the single game v Olympiacos.

He looks direct, quick, skilful, he scores a lovely goal in the clip, makes one, works back, wins tackles, and carries the ball effortlessly, and this in a teenager.

I'd love to see a bit more of it, but he's the kind of player I love watching, and the fee is not even a gamble.

Really like the look of this lad, looks quick, direct and skilful.

Final ball looks good as well.

 

I think he will be challenging from the off for a spot with Karlsson.

Good competition now on the wing with Giaccherini and Johnson with two young lads as back up. I think McClean's days are numbered. If we can get a million or two for him and off the wage bill it will be good work by SAFC

Can't see McLean getting game time, although as I've said before I reckon he could make a decent wing back.
