Disgraceful but even if he was challenged and defeated there would still be people like him waiting in the wings. His little lapdog Platini for one.
apparently The Sun compared Blatter and Colonel Gaddiffi... Got to agree they are very similarious, both quite, quite mad and very delusional
I'm not sure oxymoron's the right term, any wordsmiths know? It's erroneous, but there's bound to be a better word. What about similar examples? We don't need air to breathe. Peter Beardsley's not ugly. Chesterfields spire's not crooked. Dale Winton's straight.
Was thinking, 2 words in the same sentence that shouldn't be, e.g., military intelligence, caring tories, etc!!!
I know, but FIFA and corrupt sit hand in hand. don't they? More tautology or a redundancy than oxymoron I'd say.
It's not oxymoronic as it doesn't contradict itself but I'm stuck between whether it's erroneous or just simply sarcasm
no surprise there Blatter is a law to himself why upset that balance if he can do what ever pleases him
How does Blatter get away with it? All I can think is that the smaller nations will band together with the right incentives.
As you say it is not oxymoronic as it doesn't directly contradict itself (e.g. the living dead) but i believe it is erroneous as it is wrong and untrue. I also sense a hint of sarcasm in there aswell
the whole thing reminded me of the famous us presidential speech by nixon when he said: "I am not a Criminal"
