This is the point really. If negotiations are ongoing with Real over Higuian then you can be sure that they will continue whether he is in pre season training or on holiday. The Suarez bid was a massive indicator of what's happening here, I think it's entirely wrapped up in what happens to Higuain.
 
It doesn't matter if he was on vacation until 3 days ago or 3 weeks ago or is still on one now, if there is a possibility of him completing a move to Arsenal or any other club then he would cut it short, like any footballer seeking a club would do.

Not if the deal hasn't been completed. It's quite simple really.

Except the club itself has to approve it too. No point in cancelling your vacay when Real say no deal.

I think you need to read back. My 'if' was solely based on Grizzly's comment suggesting the Higuain's unavailability is holding up the deal. That is what I based my IF on. For one reason or another, both yourself and OXOCube came to a completely different conclusion from my comment and started rambling on about complete insignificance.
