Talk of Gervinho also leaving. Surely it's too good to be true? Getting rid of Arshavin,Denilson,Bendtner,Squillaci and Gervinho in one transfer window would be one hell of an achievement.
Not really an achievement when they are released at the end of their contracts. Had you sold them, then yes.
Gervinho & Bendy will be tough to move on as both are likely on decent wages.
With Bedntner, we have by all accounts received five bids for him and have accepted them all, now it's up to Bedntner to pick one of those clubs and let's just prey that he takes a wage cut in order to get some game time so he can get his career going again.

In his last interview he said that he now realises that he's got to play in at level down from the top, to get regular games. At ****ing last, the penny has dropped![]()
Trust you to post a link to a lefty republican ragJuve interested too. Looks like it's all waiting for PSG to appoint their new manager first.

As I said I can't vouch for it and this is a RUMOURS thread is it not, it doesn't say Rumours only but no stupid ones!
Anyway, I'll take it with a pinch of salt like everyone else here....
Twitter is buzzing with Rooney rumours
Where would Rooney fit into Arsenal's system?
He seems to play his best stuff in a role behind a lead striker, but wouldn't that lead to Cazorla being pushed out wide or being forced into the midfield?
It's good to have options, but I sometimes feel that Wenger buys players without considering where they fit into the system and then tries to alter their normal role.
Worked brilliantly with Henry, but a number of others have fallen by the wayside since, in my opinion.
Rooney could easily play as the lone front man in our system and I think he would like that, because he would also be allowed to drop deep and link the play. One of his best seasons in a United shirt was in the 2009/10 season and in that season he was playing as the lone front man.

Got found out though as soon as Valencia got injured though (following season I think). He'll need to be playing in a side that has natural width and can provide assists, would Walcott accept playing out wide? Not sure Cazorla is that good out wide, ten times better when played in the middle off the striker, IMO
