On a serious note, good one mate How did you snare her? Lonsdsle vest, a splash of blue stratos? What woman could resist.
I love the way his agent says he should go to a better team than Hull, but unfortunately for him, none of the better clubs want him. Life's a bitch eh Florin!
So many goalkeepers can save shots but not catch balls. Lots kick the ball out and can't get it to land somewhere on the pitch. You get strikers who can't properly kick a ball on the penalty spot (Simpson) or take a penalty without telling the goalkeeper where he's going to aim for (Proschwitz). I don't think I could get away with preparing accounts that don't add up but still earn £20k a week!
We might have to find a new home for Jakupovic before we can bring in a new No.2, but I'd go for someone like Forde from Millwall.
Frankly I think McGregor was and is probably our best option anyway. Certainly, in my view, a better goalkeeper than either Stockdale or Kasper. Would be quite happy if this comes off. Not so bothered about Pantilimon, He may, or may not, be ok, he's unproven at this level and there doesn't seem to be a rush for him from other clubs. Plus his agent is a cock. His comments were stupid whatever happens, only an idiot would slag off the only offer on the table, even if you are not going to accept it.
I posted this on the Brucey's summer shopping list thread already: Two newspapers, Express and Sun, have us going for Mark Schwarzer http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/papertalk
Have to say after all the speculation about Schmeichel, Schwarzer, Mannone and Stockdale I'd be a bit disappointed if we got this McGregor guy. It's just cos I've never really heard of him until recently and he could be great I suppose but all four of the above keepers are definitely good keepers, some of them brilliant ones.
Then the problem you have is with your own knowledge, rather than anything that might happen in the transfer market.
Ive seen Allan (annoying double l, what' that about?) many times on tv, never in the flesh, and he always struck me as a 'steady' keeper rather than spectacular. He wont win us many games on his own, but he's unlikely to cost us them either.
I know. I already admitted that. I can't know about every single keeper, especially one who plays in obscure places like Scotland and Turkey. His name makes him sound average too. If he had an Italian sounding name I'd probably quite like the idea of him in our goal.
Not really, he's better than Schmeichel, who I never really wanted in the first place. I'd still take Schwarzer ahead of him, but I'd be happy with McGregor.
