You could have posted one of your dodgy Marca transfer links, instead of one that actually had Fabregas quotes <grr>

Would be a good signing for you. From the outside a good DM is the thing you miss most, with your defence often exposed. C'mon Moyes, get your bid in <yikes>

Just can't see it happening to be honest. Not that I wouldn't like him at Arsenal, but for the reported £24m I don't think we'd buy him and I think it's more likely we'd go for a midfielder with more attacking qualities.

IMO you'll finish closer to United than Arsenal so be careful what you wish for.....

Apparently the Spuds are in for Gareth Barry <laugh>

Maybe they hope that replacing one Gareth B with another Gareth B will appease the fans <ok>

Surely his wages would stop that, barry must be on a big pay packet at city, cant see levey paying him anywhere near that much, look at the mess the adebyor transfer turned into.

Maybe taking the ****y factor out, which Adebayor has in buckets, and it might not be such a stumbling block. Barry is 32 and is probably not going to be offered another lucrative deal at City. He's a typical Spurs sort of signing (Parker) so it might have legs. Spud fans are currently spitting feathers over the this potential deal . .

Can you imagine a central midfield pairing of Barry and Parker? That's more like relegation fodder than champions league.

Spuds could be in trouble if they sell Bale, Lloris and Defoe and bring in players of Barry's calibre.

    Hi Guys,

Don't usually post too much on here, but always like to keep in touch with what's going on..

A good friend of mine who has a season ticket and was doing a delivery to the stadium today, apparently saw Rooney getting out of a black merc. Can't vouch for this 100% but he has no reason to be wind me up....

    So watch this space...

<laugh> That's a pretty ****ing speculative story to say the least - a talksport caller was convinced he saw Rooney at the Emirates.

He's got nothing on my mates, sister's, hairdresser's, mechanic's, brother's mate, who overhead this bloke down the pub saying that his mate was convinced he'd seen Messi at the Emirates . . .

"While the player himself has been quiet on his future, a talkSPORT caller has claimed that he is '100% sure' that he spotted Rooney arriving at the Emirates in a black Mercedes this morning."

Was this you or the good friend of yours with a season ticket who was making a delivery at the stadium? Forgive me for being skeptical of it, and you for that matter.

It has to be the most ridiculously stupid rumor I've heard all summer and I can't believe it's still going on. Probably because it's got Arsenal, United, and Rooney in it, so it's bound to sell newspapers and get clicks online... :emoticon-0114-dull:

Talk of Gervinho also leaving. Surely it's too good to be true? Getting rid of Arshavin,Denilson,Bendtner,Squillaci and Gervinho in one transfer window would be one hell of an achievement.

As I said I can't vouch for it and this is a RUMOURS thread is it not, it doesn't say Rumours only but no stupid ones!

Anyway, I'll take it with a pinch of salt like everyone else here....
