Agreed it was a friendly, but didn't Dundee Utd come to the KC and beat us convincingly too? You can say they're meaningless games that you can't read anything into but in the absence of any counter evidence from the yah-boo-sucks brigade I'd say it gives a decent impression of the relative standards. Celtic also have an excellent record of beating top English teams in European competition too. In fact, I don't think Leeds, Liverpool or Man U have got the better of them.

I was at the Hearts game, it was the usual pre-season stroll, it bore absolutely no resemblance to a league performance. You might as well say that the Northern Counties East League is on a par with the Championship, because Winterton Rangers once beat us in a pre-season.
Anthony Stokes came from Hibs. I don't believe they are a Championship side. So you were able to name 6 players who came from the Championship and were wrong about one of those... That must mean you think "most" of the Celtic squad constitutes 11 players. Is that correct?
hibs is even worse than a championship squad but he played there not long before joining celtic and no but those players get a lot of game time
