I've not seen either play, but from what I can gather De Ceglie sounds the better of the 2, but I'd be happy if we signed any of these, especially Anichibe, he's a beast.
If we are going to play direct attacking football, you need someone with pace and strength to run the channels and mix It up abit, something that neither Crouch or Jones have been able or willing to do. I just wish Fuller was 10 years younger!
Just heard a very strong rumour (a guy who's in the know) always genuine with his info Smithers. There is a good chance we could be signing Adam LeFondre spelling? That would go down well with me.. My source said, MH is looking to speak with him and we have a figure in mind re fee!
Interesting that Potts we will have to see. I noticed Bridge has signed for Reading, thought Hughes may have been tempted given that he was free.
Odds for Hooper, Hoilett and Le Fondre have got a lot better. Seems Hughes has learnt from previous problems (QPR)
Sounds like a bit of positivity is breaking out, we're not normally this upbeat at this time of year.
Anyone for Tom Ince - I see Ollie has been linked with a 4 million bid which seems cheap to me? I see Bentley is a free as well!
Yossi Benyaoun is out of contract and I think he is brilliant and if we could persuade him to come to the Brit
@StokeLoudProud: Mark Hughes has told Stoke’s struggling midfield man Charlie Adam he will help put his career back on course.... http://t.co/PyVd5gqNZS
New Potters boss to bring in former Blackburn star. New Stoke City manager Mark Hughes could make a surprise move for free agent David Bentley, CaughtOffside understands. The 28-year-old has just been released by Tottenham after a difficult five-year spell with the club, who he joined from Hughes' Blackburn team for £15million in 2008. Bentley, also a former Arsenal trainee, never managed to find his best form again at White Hart Lane, after becoming one of the most talked about talents in the country under Hughes at Blackburn.
