Basically says that due to Juventus' recent signings of Kwadwo Asamoah and other defensive players he is available. They say that Wilkinson is kinda getting old.
They say De Ceglie is recently signed a new contract till 2017 and that Milan and Sampdoria want him [De Ceglie].
Despite talking about the signing of Asamoah they say he is possibly for sale, maybe a target for us?

Hope I helped mate :)

I read somewhere that he put his fist through some glass partition after getting sent off in his 1st game coming back after injury. His blood was splattered all over the place. <yikes> Looks a decent player though and, he can also cover as a centre half. Let's hope MH can persuade him to sign for us.

To be fair he needs to build cuz apart from a core of players the rest are poor or past there best. Just hope he doesnt do I Tone and panic buy **** at the end of the window

Club confirm a number of departures following end of 2012/13

STOKE CITY have announced the Club's retained list following the completion of the 2012-13 Barclays Premier League season.

Long serving stalwarts Rory Delap and Mamady Sidibe head up a list of players released from the Club with Dean Whitehead, Matthew Upson, Jermaine Pennant, Carlo Nash and Matthew Lund also leaving the Britannia Stadium after their contracts came to an end.

Bad move for me, never rated him when TP was chasing for all them seasons. Over rated, overpaid and more importantly he is never fit - I would rather keep an unhappy Jones.

Pennant - considering contract

Matej Vydra - Hughes is a fan

Erik Pieters - agreed fee in january

De Ceglie - if Pieters deal falls through

Sorensen - Centre half cover

Chris Brunt - free agent & talented wide man

Hoilett - Hughes really wants a fast paced winger

Anichebe - Hughes wants a strong centre forward to replace outgoing Jones

Think I would be happy with them changes.

Also heard a bit about this guy:
Stoke are looking to buy cover for Shawcross and Huth if injured/suspended. Hughes has his eye on 22 year old, Porto FC centre back Abdoulaye Ba. Abdoulaye played in 15 matches for FC Porto and 9 matches with FC Porto B. He played three matches in the UEFA Champions League and his performances were pretty good.*
Abdoulaye is a strong centre back and he has very good heading skills. He is 6 ft 6 but despite his height he is a very quick player. He has a fantastic work rate in every match and he is very brave. The only problem is he is a rough player, picking up many yellow and red cards in matches.
