So Shotton, Kightly & Whitehead who formed such an integeral part of TP's plans last term and woyld have continued if he had stayed on are now playing in the lower leagues. Hhhmmmmmm?
 
and personally I think that Mark Hughes has done brilliantly, very good signings at very good prices. Im chuffed to bits

just very happy with how its all going at the moment, come on Nicky give us a smile, Pulis has gone, we are fifth in the prem, all the dead wood is gone and we played West ham off the park on Saturday.
 
Fair enough Ricc...yes; weare starting to look like a proper football team.
 
Gutted we didn't get shut of Whelan but all n all I'm very happy with the window and how the season is panning out so far. Hopefully Whelan will now become a fringe player and farmed out in January, the Shotton to Wigan deal permanent and a couple of prolific strikers brought in and the season will be done!
 
Looks like the Shotton deal was supposed to be permanent, but because some of the issues Wigan had on deadline day they opted for the loan. Should be a 2 million deal in January and hopefully a similiar amount for kightly.

Just tried to give you rep for that comment Nicky, it won't let me! Just hope this Astronurotic whatever his name is. Is better than Shotton the fee was 2 million I believe? <yikes> Oh and I've just heard the new guy has the No10 shirt, some say he's like Belly O telly with an attitude.

Personally, I think Wigan are stupid but like Pulis, someone else thinks he's a good player.
