I just love all the snubbing that is going on. You invent a transfer rumour, then before you can get called on it being bullshit, you quickly invent that the player snubbed whoever it was (usually Arsenal) that you made up the rumor about.

Two articles for the price of one. People have to stop believing this crap don't they?

Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea are planning to lure Borussia Dortmund right-back Lukasz Piszczek.

Arsenal are ready to replace Bakary Sagna with Piszczek, should the France international leave at the end of the season.

Chelsea nearly won Piszczek after the Euro 2012, in which Premier League scouts were sent to watch the Polish international. Jose Bosingwa was released and they needed replacement at Stamford Bridge.

Piszczek is regarded as Arsenal's first-choice target following another impressive season in Germany, having also helped the Bundesliga giants to this year's Champions League final at Wembley.

He has gone on to establish himself as one of the best full-backs in the Bundesliga, and would be a welcome addition to any Premier League club this summer.

I don't see why Chelsea would be after Piszczek. They have a great RB is Azpilicueta, then they have Ivanovic and Essien to fill in if needed.
 
The Express/Mail are reporting we have enquired about Vitor Wanyama.

Would be a great signing, the guy is a beast.
 
What would you think if our summer signings consisted of Villa, Wanyama and Fabregas? Would that be a successful transfer window?

A beast is right, over the last 10 games he has picked up four yellow cards and one red. To go with all of his other problems. I'd be surprised if we signed him.
 
Suarez confirmed he wants to leave L'pool. Whether the club will let him leave is another matter.
 
Didn't realise Gomez is only 27, seeing as Mandzukic is 1st choice and they are looking at Lewandowski why not bid for Gomez. He is pretty much inbetween the level of Cavani and Falcao and the like of Villa, Higuain and Jovetic (are likely targets). He certainly won't come cheap 25mn odd and a salary of 150k (possibly more) but he would be perfect in the Statment Signing bracket as well as World Class Striker one. For whatever reason the world and their grandmother is being linked to him even though he is quality. Why Not?
