Yes sure.
His 2015/16 season was one of the greatest of all time from a midfielder - 9 more chances created than Fernandez this past year.
146 chances created, still a PL record. Let that sink in a bit by comparing to this year for us.... Rice 63 chances created, Saka 61. That's our 1st and 2nd in the team. Sanchez or Cazorla never got close to Ozil's best year.
Cazorla's best year was 74 chances created in the PL - just about 50% of Ozil.
Sanchez's best year was 78.
Neither were fit to lace Ozil's boots as a creator when Ozil was at his best.

Basically, you are talking utter **** mate.
Quote all the stats you want. I watched them all play.

What are you talking about? You don't think Individuals win big games?.. It happens all the time! <laugh>

When your the most talented player in a young team (or one of) you need to be the one deciding the big moments. Scoring the goals, creating the goals, driving the side to victory.

It's all well and good assisting against West Bromwich Albion but then being totally invisible while we get wrecked 10-2 by Bayern Munich.

No narrative here mate - I go to games at the Emirates and watched him bottle many big game first hand.

Guy came out on social media and said he wasn't getting games at Arsenal purely because of his political views, he then goes to Fenerbace makes just 37 apps over 2 Seasons - gets dropped and then retires. (at just 33).

He was finished long before he went to Fenerbahce.
Yes, there have been only a handful of players in history that won games on their own and I mean a handful. Maybe 2 or 3.
Games are won through team effort. You can score as many as you like, if you concede more , you lose.
You can put the ball in the back of the net, but if you are playing for a poor team, you won't get the chance.

Emotional fandom analysis that glorifies some players and underplays others has never been useful and never will be.

Yeah - so did I. Season ticket holder during that time.
No player in our history , including Bergkamp and Henry created more chances in a single season than Ozil. In fact, no player from any team in PL history has to this date. 15/16 remains the most creative season by any player ever seen in the PL.
if you were actually watching the games you would have seen all 146 of the chances he created.
To class that season as **** makes you as dumb as a rock - including whilst you were watching... though given your assessment I doubt you watched any games that year.

No - it's a team game so no-one really wins a game on their own but you know when i'm saying that I just mean 'creates a goal for themself' or produces a deciding moment of magic that decides a big match.

If were talking Arsenal..
Henry vs United 2000 or , Henry vs Real Madrid 2006, Alexis Sanchez FA Cup Final... Michael Thomas vs Liverpool 1989.

or even Fabregas vs Juventus 2006 Champions League quatre final. Ozil never produced a moment or even performance like this against a top side despite how long he was at the Club. Weak.

You are talking about big moments for players in games.
You can not say any of those moments were done alone.
How does Thomas score his goal, for example, if Smith does not play the ball to him or Lukic doesn't make the quick accurate throw to Dixon, and Dixon doesn't play it accurately into Smith? Or, indeed, if the Liverpool defence doesn't **** things up .

Ozil produced many moments against big sides.
I already pointed out that 22 of his goals and assists in the PL came against big sides... and that's not even counting his play leading to a final pass - something he was expert at , laying the ball through the lines for a winger to cross.
Just because they all didn't win games is irrelevant - the losses we had were the responsibility of the team, not an individual player... and that is the real nub of your argument... we didn't win a enough games to win the league and you are trying to place that on one player. You are basically relegating football analysis of players to whether they scored a winning goal in a big game you can remember, like a final of a Cup. Most players don't do that.
