Steve Tucker on Twitter:

@realstevetucker: Told by sources at Cardiff City this is not true

It's going to be a long summer of striker links.

So far we've had Graham, Kuyt (is he a striker though?), Jermome, Kenwyne Jones (at least he has a Welsh name!!!), some French guy who would cost £15m. Have I missed anyone?

Taff,

I think that Williams has "come of age" last season seems to have lost those silly mistakes he was capable off, would be a good buy for Arsenal but expect Rogers to be sniffing around too.

Players rumoured in at Cardiff City FC (since 31/Jan/2013)

Players rumoured in at Cardiff City FC (since 31/Jan/2013)

Num Rumours Player From Club
from daily rags
4 Wayne Bridge Manchester City Too old 33 in Aug
3 Chris Eagles Bolton Played well against us 27 so at his prime
3 Danny Graham Sunderland 28 has not set the world alight o goals in 11 in the Prem.
2 Bobby Zamora QPR Always liked Zamora but too old now 32
2 Salomon Kalou Lille 28 in Aug scored 1 in 4 for Chelsea in the Prem not for me
2 Dirk Kuyt Fenerbahce 33 in July but has a good goals per game record and is a Malky type of player
2 Kenwyne Jones Stoke 28 he has a poor goals per game record not for me
1 Joe Ledley Celtic No thanks, was slow at Cardiff and has gone backwards. end of
1 Adam le Fondre Reading I like him 26 should be at his prime
1 Matt Phillips Blackpool Plenty of promise but we have others just as good in the club

Quit like the idea of Le Fondre up front, 24 goals from 66 apps

Put my thoughts in bold

Okay, he has never really proved himself at Prem level but did a superb job for us, increasing in confidence in every game. If on a free or reasonable fee, up to say £1m, he would be a good addition and provide great competition for cb places.

Just read on Twitter that we're supposed to be interested in Brazilian midfielder Wellington Nem. Never heard of him before - any of you guys know anything about him? Here's what I dug up:

He's a superb little player! Can play on the wing or just behind the striker, and is lightening quick. I think we could get him for 3/4mil

There are a couple of other stars in that Brazilian league. Ademnilson and Doria are great prospects. Both with relatively small release clauses should def look out there!

Email Malky.

Malky down to 50/1 for Stoke? Stoke fans are chatting but not convinced. A lot of them are not up for the favourite for the position, Sparky, and would prefer someone else.
He's 16/1 for Everton, really don't think Malky will leave.

Reported on the BBC website (from the express).

Stoke City will consider Cardiff manager Malky Mackay, former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo and Brighton manager Gus Poyet as options if Mark Hughes turns down an offer to become their next boss.

I'm sure there are lots of things I could consider, doesn't mean the other party is interested or that it's going to happen. It's like me saying that if my wife left me I'd consider replacing her with Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron or Uma Therman if Scarlet Johansson turned me down.
