These events are saddening, but using the death penalty against them is the wrong thing to do. Don't people see it's what these Muslims men want? They want to be killed, they have just committed Jihad to make Allah proud. From their perspective they think they have done right. Let them suffer in prison for their crimes.

No deport the bastards.

The airport is that way. **** off back to some 'muslim land' if things here are not to your taste.

They are not wanted here.

Another thing that is worrying is that people are using the "Racism Card" at every opportunity, a respected war hero who was supporting a charity has been savagely dismembered in public by terroists and the people think the sensitive issue of 'nasty words' and 'human rights' are more important. That is the shocking thing.

The irony is that the Koran (and I'm no expert on it) condemns the taking of life

Yesterday seems to be more about the seeking of notoriety by two social misfits rather than a religious cause IMHO

I doubt they'll get into paradise for the killing of a western 'soldier' whose combat specialism amounts to playing the drum

The less humanitarian side of me hopes they survive their wounds and get to enjoy the experience and delights of a western maximum security institution. Perhaps they'll find somebody more worthy of their need to 'confront' in there - let's hope they get the chance.

A truly horrendous event and my heart goes out to the family of the young lad - at the same time I feel a lot of sympathy for the decent muslim communities in this country who must now be living in fear of reprisals for what a couple of lunatic low lives have done

I'm sorry, I did mean deport them as well, why should tax payer's money go to 'housing' terroists in a country they apparently hate? Get rid of Abua Qatada as well while they are at it. That bastard is probaly laughing about what has happened. Life in a nice Saudi Arabian prison is nicer than here anyway according to them. If they hate it so much, leave, don't kill natives of a country they 'lodge' in.

I think these two brainless individuals have been used by cleverer and more determined minds to do their dirty work. The usual scenario or the lost or vulnerable being exploited by the radicalisers who then sit back and watch the carnage.

Cameron will also exploit this event to deflect attention away from his *** marriage proposal which has so damaged his own party, and use it to appear like a 'leader'.

You have to smile at his 'They will not divide us'.

15 years of open door immigration already have,

Tell him, someone.

Can this forum stop calling itself a football forum if it is now a political forum please.
I do not know how many circles we need to go around to help people become more entrenched in their views.

Can a moderator explain why the phrase "*** marriage proposal" is not edited.
It seems like a homophobic bit of bullying.

this e-mail has been doing the rounds recently. I received it on Monday. I will say no more.

Thought you might like to read this letter to the editor of a British national newspaper. Ever notice how some people just seem to know how to write a letter?
Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister!

Written by a housewife, to her daily newspaper:

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores in July 2002, and in New York Sept 11, 2001 and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day in Washington , and in downtown Manhattan , and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan .

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques and behind women and children.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of Nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the British media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a British soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this:

I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take this to the bank:

I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner - who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and 'fed special food' that is paid for by my taxes - is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts:

I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran..' Well, believe me!! you guessed it ..........

I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country! And may I add:

'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. Our soldiers don't have that problem.'

I have another quote that I would like to add, AND......... I hope you forward all this.

Only six defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ

2. The British Soldier.

3. The Canadian Soldier.

4. The US Soldier
5. The New Zealand Soldier, and

6. The Australian Soldier

One died for your soul, the other 5 for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET ABOUT ALL OF THEM
AMEN!’

GIVE THIS LADY A STANDING OVATION. SHE HAS INDEED TICKED ALL THE BOXES
Isn't it interesting that so many people in the Western World feel this way, but not one of our politicians, who are supposed to represent us, ever have the guts to state the situation like it is?
We do not have strong politicians, just weaklings that bend in the wind.

Don't really care for all that Jesus bollocks.

I noticed they said "our soldiers" a lot, but Pakistan are fighting alongside the US & Britain & other allies in this war. It's not all about the West v Islam.

36,000 Indian troops died in WW2 as well fighting for the allies.
Surely worthy of a mention?

Not sure about that. Despite their fearsome reputation they really are humble, polite and respectful which would kind of fit in with that.

My squadron was the first to have to share accommodation with a Gurkha unit, that's what we were told anyway.

Top blokes and they can rustle up a mean curry.

This email worries me in many ways, including that people think the alleged writer of this email should 'run for PM'. Do people know how the election system works in this country? I was stunned in the last General Election to hear what I believed to be educated people living in my adopted home of Leeds asking "who are you voting for? I'll either go for Cameron or Clegg" and they were then surprised to see that these names didnt appear on their ballot paper. It doesnt work like that <doh> You dont vote for them unless you're in their constituency, you vote for your local candidates to decide the distribution of electoral seats. And once a party is in majority power they can change their leader and thus PW at will. I also remember people being stunned when Gordon Brown became PM "cos they didnt vote for him".

Totally O/T for a minute there, things like that just piss me off.... and the letter is ****.
