...and others have strong opinions on the topic, but don't want the thread on here at all. Moderating it would have others complaining about censorship of their views. There's more to this board than following your opinions.

As for the thread. It's not the politics and religion thread, it's about the events at Woolwich. If that topic is exhausted, maybe it's time to close the thread.

I did i went to Middleton with my family and paid my respects!!! Clearly sharing this with people who support the same club as i do was wrong!

 

Bloody hell. To be fair, despite the broad spectrum of opinion and vitriol on this thread, I think the one thing we all agree on is the tragedy of a brutally murdered soldier and his grieving family. I don't think anyone is being disrespectful to Rigby anyway. This is a complicated issue and we all want to talk about it. No point having multiple threads for the same event/topic. I tend to agree. People can PM mods with any resons they think the thread should be reopened.

RIP Lee. I can't even begin to imagine what those close to him are going through, but I hope they get comfort from the fact so many people care so deeply.
