As we keep making clear, religion and politics are generally not allowed on here. The event at Woolwich was allowed as it was an exception. The respects in his home town are part of that tragic event.

****ing knew it! This thread has people going on about star Trek, Israel, Religion And you thought it right to move People paying there respects here! People could have added there own opinion and paid there respects on the Very moving pictures rather then troll though 20 pages of Left and right wing, political, religious and piss take opinions to a very sobering moment! And after a Very moving day for my family i have to deal with a prick like you!

You could quite easily have moderated the thread, People might have added more pictures of the rest of the country paying there respects and not want to add on this thread!

Look what has been added since my post!!! Just people want to go on about Muslims and so on and in No way is this a show of Respect to the Rigby family, Just move the thread back and give Lee Rigby the respect he deserves. You made one exception, Now make the right one
 
...and others have strong opinions on the topic, but don't want the thread on here at all. Moderating it would have others complaining about censorship of their views. There's more to this board than following your opinions.

As for the thread. It's not the politics and religion thread, it's about the events at Woolwich. If that topic is exhausted, maybe it's time to close the thread.

This is people paying there respects you ****ing prick , So you think thousands of people paying respect to a Lee Rigby is about my opinions? How the **** can you contrive that? You really are a ****ing joke DMD, This aint about winning or losing this is about paying respect to Lee Rigby, You could have modded! do you really think my thread has anything to do with the above comments?
 
I think that there are better, and more appropriate places to 'pay respect' than a Hull City forum...

Bloody hell. To be fair, despite the broad spectrum of opinion and vitriol on this thread, I think the one thing we all agree on is the tragedy of a brutally murdered soldier and his grieving family. I don't think anyone is being disrespectful to Rigby anyway. This is a complicated issue and we all want to talk about it. No point having multiple threads for the same event/topic. Chill Winstaahn

I tend to agree. People can PM mods with any resons they think the thread should be reopened.

RIP Lee. I can't even begin to imagine what those close to him are going through, but I hope they get comfort from the fact so many people care so deeply.
