Not really sure who is good enough to take over other than possibly Mourinho. But the problem with appointing Mourinho is that he leaves jobs very quickly even if successful. The bookies have Moyes as a massive favourite. He's been loyal at Everton and done a decent job but I'm not convinced he's good enough to manage a top side. He has a dreadful record away from home against the top sides.
I suspect Fergie has already selected his replacement and it would seem it will be David Moyes. Moyes has done brilliantly at Everton, but won nothing. Man Utd is all about winning things and its that "certain something" that turn nearly teams to winning ones. Not quite sure Moyes has that, but that United squad remains the best in the UK and they will always attract top players. Mourinho is too London-centric to go up to Manc. Plus can't see him getting on with the way the Yanks run things at Old Trafford.
I really hope it's Mourinho as long as there's a photographer secreted somewhere to catch the expression on Roman's face as the appointment is announced.....
Klopp is a good shout but I think it'll be Moyes. Really can't see Mourinho getting it. I think they'll be looking long term and I don't see Mourinho long term anywhere.
As usual, I reject all notions of pro-United bias and "Fergie time" as utter tripe. Great manager, decent person, gonna miss him.
Completely agree. The man is a football legend, an institution as such. He is one of the most famous faces in football on a global scale and world football will miss him without a shadow of a doubt.
The odds of David Moyes becoming next Man United manager are tumbling as I type. The odds on Moyes on Skybet were 2/7 5 minutes ago now it's 1/4.
As much as I believe Moyes is a top manager, I hope its Klopp, done wonderful things with Dortmund. Although Mourinho would be nice...
