    Whoops too late.

Oh well, that was fun while it lasted.

    Sort of.

Well, thanks, I do appreciate the advice. My initial target doesn't seem like the wrong type of girl, so I may try with her and if that doesn't work, then yes, take some time out perhaps.

60 posts in the 6 hours after a match that we lost? That sounds familiar. He did not seem to post so much when we won.

Yeah with her, it seems like she does like you, but you've been very unfortunate with events conspiring against you when it comes to meeting up with her. There will be a point where you may have put that one on ice for a while, but not necessarily forgetting about it forever, just to let you get your head right with how to pursue it.

Eurgh I think I'm going to be sick (again).

Not cause of the video mind which is amusing. Is that from Dr Strangelove?!

During the last 18 months I have been single for pretty much the only time during my adult life, and you know what...It's been bloody brilliant.

Don't get me wrong, to start with it felt like someone had cut my right leg off, but once you get your head around it.......

I can be late for pretty much anything but work, I can get hideously drunk and not apologise, I get to spend more time with my best mates, I can flirt with any girl I choose (large boyfriends aside), I've started playing football again for the 1st time in years, I can waste hours on online forums :emoticon-0105-wink: , in fact I can pretty much do what I want, when I want, without having to let ANYONE know. Brilliant!

The word "selfish" brings up many negative connotations, but do I regret being "selfish" for a little while, after being "selfless" for so long before....HELL NO!

    That is all.

What's the matter, sick wise, PL..?

No, it's not from Dr Strangelove, but it is the same voice Sellers uses. He did various versions - a twits version, an irish version, that is definitely not suitable for work [at the end of it], and a cockney version. Quite amusing and I imagine, hilarious at the time.

Sorry if I'm being a bit too light humoured for you. I presume you're feeling a bit down about this girl [I haven't read through Beefy today]. What's up, matey..?

I haven't the foggiest tbh. It started last night, I think in response to seeing that thread.

I am down to some extent certainly, she seems nice and she now seems to have deleted me from RealID on WoW which was pretty much wholly how we communicated. Also, quite annoyingly is that it looked like I might possibly get some vistages of a social life, but I think that's unlikely now. But I honestly don't think I did anything wrong. So apparently things were awkward during our 'date', so I tried to apologise on WoW, got deleted from RealID and then sent her a text saying sorry for making things awkward. Which I got no reply from. But now I genuinely don't believe I'm going to hear from her again I think. Talk about a weird turn of events.

PFA team of the year: De Gea (Man U), Zabaleta (Man C), Baines (Everton), Vertonghen (Spurs), Ferdinand (Man U), Carrick (Man U), Hazard (Chelsea), Mata (Chelsea), Bale (Spurs), van Persie (Man U), Suarez (Liverpool). Hmm...

Hi PL, sometimes you can over analyse things and still be uncertain about the reasons of why things did not go as you would have wanted. Life is like that, things never go exactly as you expect, you may meet someone when you least expect and they are perfect. Sometimes it is best not to chase and just be yourself. Good luck.

Yeah, I'm really wary about relationships that take too much freedom from you. Some couples seem to be constantly joined at the hip, but I think it's really important to each have your own separate lives. That's probably why so many married couples eventually get sick of each other.

The killer for me is being able to eat what you want. If I want to sit in my underwear eating Domino's and playing Skyrim on a Wednesday afternoon then that's what I'm going to do damn it!

Well, I'll give you some real advice which, I know you won't take, because we're all human and we have to run things through the way we see them. I used to suffer things through, like you, because I've been a sensitive chappie too, throughout my life, never wanting to hurt anyone, and internalising important things, so that others wouldn't be hurt, but what I often didn't do was, as they say today... move on. But that's what I suggest you do for your own good. Let it go. I know you think you should try to work things out with her, but don't try. It will almost certainly make things worse. Do what I didn't do and should have done, when I was your age. You can't be Mr Perfect and although I respect you for trying, there comes a time when you're the one who is suffering and everyone else has moved on. Time to do it. Honestly.

That's what uni is all about! Me and my housemate last year used to do **** like that all the time. Often his girlfriend would get involved. We really pissed the other two off, but they were lame.
