This Gaston hatred thing is really starting to wind me up now. I know Gaston messed up today by lashing out, but when he came on he looked hungry, and didn't do anything wrong up to the point he saw red. I swear people are just not able to identify a good footballer.

I know you post over there DTLW but I just cannot hack the negativity on that forum. I just don't get it, most of the guys on there have been Saints fans a long time by the look of it, yet don't seem able to grasp the fact that this is the most promising era to be a Saints fan in decades, utterly bizarre.

So despite sleeping rubbishly last night (probably due to having read that post on that forum), I've got up quite early, and I checked national rail times and wierdly trains to Havant are taking less time today! Rather than two hours ( though I haven't checked the return journey to be fair), it's only an hour and a half! Maybe that's telling me that I should go the game..... I could get the washing done in two hours (though maybe not the ironing.....)

Annoying, the girl in question was in WoW and I messaged her but she didn't reply then went offline (that's happened before so that doesn't necessarily mean anything) but I reeeeeally want to have a talk with her and sort this out once and for all, whether or not the outcome is positive or not doesn't matter, I just want to close this issue and have the opportunity to express my view. Hope she comes online later .

She's not going to. I hope she's not blanking me or something.

 

Okay she did come online and she wasn't blanking me. I mentioned that I read her posts and she said she's gonna log out as she screwed up (not sure what that was referring to) and can't deal with confrontation....

Um....

Might just see if she comes back online and if she doesn't, text her. All I really wanted to do was apologise for making things awkward and tell her I didn't realise she had any interest in me as more than a friend.

On the other hand, I dunno whether I should just give her space, but I don't want her thinking that I want a confrontation with her....

 

I'd probably just leave it now. It's clear that it won't work out after what's happened, and like you said - if you don't want a confrontation it's not worth it.

She clearly feels awkward about it, which she should for bitching about you online, but that's life.

Dust off and get on.

 

What would you give her out of 10? If it's below a 6, don't bother. If it's above, tell her to stop dicking about because refusing to talk because "I don't like confrontation" is bullshit.

 

Good on you for telling her you saw what she wrote online, it's good she realises it's hurtful.

Aside from that DTLW is right, move on and find a girl more deserving of your attentions! Although it's sometimes easy to forget, remember that the entire female species don't always behave like twats!

 

Just leave it. Don't apologise to her. She's embarassed and has learnt the valuable lesson that things on line are not private. Amazed how many people forget that.

Personally I think you should just take some time out from chasing girls. From what I can guage, it's taking its toll on you and you don't need it, and in all honesty it seems like it's manifesting itself in you going after the wrong kind of girl, at this moment in time anyway.

Don't take it wrong, I know it's easier said than done, but we're all trying to help you out here.
