Gary Neville give his views on Suarez and continues to shame his fellow pundits:

He really shouldn't stand out so far, but he's much better than the other dross.

Spot on as per. I remember people saying the same thing about Ronaldo after the 2006 World Cup.....

PNP is supplying the new equipment for refs and linesman. No more 0.35cm offsides

If those decisions had gone the other way then the officials would be spending the rest of the season down at Hackney Marshes.
You've benefited from three incorrect calls, yet you don't think that it should even be mentioned. A true disciple of Fergie's dictatorship.

2nd one wasn't offside

The commentator at the time said it was level but whilst it was marginal you could see he was slightly off. Not surprised they didn't look at whether it was offside again at half time, they showed the other 2 were amd Neville couldn't have glossed over it quicker.

yeah the 1st was just offside, 2nd no way and a world class goal and the 3rd was a tight one but just offside imo

the 2nd goal he timed his run it looked like

My worry is now Man U have nothing to play for in the league and what an incentive for Wigan! Beat us and they are out of the bottom three. Not good.

They might have nothing to play for, an you may well be right against the "lesser" teams on their fixture list. - But I don't think for 1 minute Ferguson will take his foot off the gas when they play against Arsenal. Pride will be at stake against Wenger and he'll still want united to win, and win well. I don't see RVP having a quiet game either. if anything, united will be more relaxed in their football and could capitalise on what could be a tense Arsenal team.
Same goes for Chelsea, to be fair.

I agree about the hysteria with this particular incident but there's been countless instances of stamping, kicking, handballing and diving and on top of that he racially abused a player several times. He's the biggest cheat and most odious player in the Premier League.

Come off it, that's ridiculous. Every decision was marginal, which isn't surprising given that RvP intentionally plays on the shoulder of the last defender. In each case, you rely on Sky freezing the frame at exactly the right point to make your case. Whether you are right or wrong about the odd millimetre, the difference had absolutely no bearing on the outcome. Not even Superman can freeze the frame and make the call- all in a split second. No linesman would have called any of those decisions against any attacking side given that the benefit of any doubt should go to the attacker.

Agree with COYG, you have to give the benefit of the doubt to the striker in those circumstances if you are not 100%.
Enjoy the night Luke, worthy champions that's for sure. By far the most consistent team in the Premier League...again! :-)

Roo - I just hope that we go to Wigan and play to the best of our ability. If we do we should win unless we are unlucky. This sort of reminds me of the other time we qualified for the CL when the odds were against us. Who knows a win away at Chelsea to secure our spot? We can dream!

Was just thinking how terrible the atmosphere at Old Trafford is all things considered and saw this:

it'll be our bloody luck that Wigan will pull off their performance of the season, beating us and putting the top 4 situation out of our hands... again!
you never know CJ, but I don't see us getting anything at Chelsea. 4 wins in the other fixtures will do me nicely.

I hope RVP doesn't play against Arsenal, can you honestly see him wanting to score against them messing up their chances? Uniteds job is done, holidays on two feet and not crutches will be the order of the remaining games, don't give a **** what Fergie says.
