They were marginal to be honest. I'd like to think it should be that when they're that close that the linesman sides with the player, we don't seem to get that though - Bale yesterday springs to mind. RVP's second finish was special though, shades of the kind of goals Ba would score for Newcastle, a long ball up and it dropped over Van Persie's shoulder for him to hammer in.

What do we have to be pissed off about? We're not in the title race and we're not competing with Villa, so it's irrelevant to us. Watching certain teams get the rub of the green consistently is annoying. I'm sure Ferguson would have me taken outside and shot for saying so, but that doesn't make it any less true.

You've totally outplayed Villa, but that's completely irrelevant as to whether the scoreline's a fair one. City were better than us for an hour, but that doesn't mean that they should've been given a couple of free goals.
