In the eyes of us and the rest of the country, we're always the North East top dogs. Top 5 finishes, Champions League football, Barcelona, Milan. The stuff you can only dream of. And you know it. Nobody outside Sunderland has ever heard of you.

That's because we don't attract attention to ourselves by making our club the laughing stock of the Premier League like your owner famously does with your club year in, year out. I expect you'll all be outside of SJP tomorrow morning with your "boycoutt" banners, because you didn't finish above us this season, or last season, or the season before that! Still, there's always next season

The famous mid-season collapse happened at the end of January this time out. Later than the usual Xmas debacle, so it seems we are gradually improving. All we need do is hold it back to the end of May and we'll be champions! Wahey!!

you can hope, maybe if we collapse again, you'll get to wave your banner about after the final whistle blows. come on lads, get it together and either give credit where it's due, or don't say owt. coming on here pissing, moaning, shouting 5-1 and talking about the champions league yonks ago just smacks of sour grapes, and waving that banner only to lose a three goal lead?? you'd slaughter us if the shoe was on the other foot. sombrero, i expected better from you... for the record, i think you've had an excellent season, and us finishing a point above you doesn't make up for the derbies, but it shows that, despite all the injuries and poor form, we are the best team in the north east. for the third year in a row now i think...
BSC ~ I'd doff my sombrero in shame.... if I could find it. The bottom line is...... You think you're the top dogs. Only you're not. We are. Always have been, always will be. (In the sombrero household) And nothing, I repeat nothing, will ever change my mind. I'm sure you know how it is.
Champions of the North-East for Sunderland will do for now!!But, in all honesty,both of our clubs have done us proud,so,it's congratulations all round.Bring on next season.
