In the eyes of us and the rest of the country, we're always the North East top dogs. Top 5 finishes, Champions League football, Barcelona, Milan. The stuff you can only dream of. And you know it. Nobody outside Sunderland has ever heard of you.

That's because we don't attract attention to ourselves by making our club the laughing stock of the Premier League like your owner famously does with your club year in, year out. I expect you'll all be outside of SJP tomorrow morning with your "boycoutt" banners, because you didn't finish above us this season, or last season, or the season before that!

Just saying like. Every club has there planks. I remember after you lot beat chelsea, sky sports had their cameras round sunderland and some idiot had you nailed on for a champions league spot......hmmmm what was that about laughing stocks again. Wonder if we will get the famous Sunderland mid season collapse next season eh lads???

The famous mid-season collapse happened at the end of January this time out. Later than the usual Xmas debacle, so it seems we are gradually improving. All we need do is hold it back to the end of May and we'll be champions! Wahey!!

for the record, i think you've had an excellent season, and us finishing a point above you doesn't make up for the derbies, but it shows that, despite all the injuries and poor form, we are the best team in the north east. for the third year in a row now i think...

Champions of the North-East for Sunderland will do for now!!But, in all honesty,both of our clubs have done us proud,so,it's congratulations all round.Bring on next season.
