di Canio likely to be Sunderland manager. Must be why he turned down the Reading job. Tough on Brighton as they must have thought they'd kept him.
Peacocking is actually kind of brilliant. Don't do it if you want to get a girlfriend out of it, because that won't work, but if you're the kind of guy who lacks confidence then the best thing you can do is fake confidence. When you notice the rewards that come from appearing confident, that fake confidence eventually turns into real confidence. Think of it as self-improvement (but try not to turn into a self-centred prick).
It's how I got my gf I am with now, she was doing a Bikini contest in Ice House when I saw her my jaw dropped. I saw her afters with her mates on the table next to me and thought I would I would give it a go. Basically blagged how confident I was when I was chatting to her even tho I was ****ting it.
Currently contemplating a response to the following status from a West Ham colleague on Facebook/Twitter....

Has to do with what you wear as well, the guy that invented it said you should always wear something that makes you stand out from the crowd. It's basically making you have the balls to do something you wouldn't do otherwise.
Peacocks use their tails to show off and attract attention by standing out, it's basically doing that.
Is there anything strange about losing a good manager and being upset and then being pleased when you discover that you've got one even better. Do they expect us to be blind to Mauricio's quality and what we are seeing on the pitch.
The idea is that you make yourself stand out, perhaps by wearing something a little outrageous. Confidence is essential, but if you're like me and sometimes lacking in the old confidence, then you just fake it. I never go out with the sole intention of meeting girls, I go out to have a good time with friends, but sometimes we do silly **** like that.

Honoured that you took the time to tweet about us. Nothing wrong with being upset at losing a hero but liking his replacement.
Absolitley laughable that the Sunderland board deem Paulo Di Canio a better manager than Martin O'Neill, a manager who's only achievement is winning promotion from League 2 or a manager with over 600 top flight and Champions league games experience.......hmmmm tough choice!
Think they're going for the passion and fight route. They've lacked fight, and haven't been attacking enough!
Di Canio could unite and rally a squad or totally destroy it though. We'll see, but it will be interesting.
Put it like this then, if it was Saints who would you rather have?.... For me it's a no-brainer for O'Neill.
Well Saints are incomparable, different players, tactics etc. If we were in total freefall in the run-in, weren't going for it and were just sitting deep, I'd probably want O'Neill out.
