If anyones got a spare ticket for the Swansea game, or knows someone who has, I'll take if of your/their hands. I'm living in Swansea, so I can meet up on the day to collect and pay, anyone who can help out PM me, thanks!!

long time no see fella. How goes it?

Not too bad, been a while since I've paid a visit, hope all the old heads are keeping well..

We have to win this one. I have a Swansea supporting flatmate and she'll grief me to death if they win!!

I think a positive result for us hinges quite a bit on Tiote. If he has a good game and protects the back 4 from Swansea's midfield movement then I can see us nicking a good result. Especially important as Michu also seems to drop deep for the ball sometimes so Tiote might be faced up with him a bit. If the ref is card happy I can see Mr T getting booked, maybe sent off, if he's off the pace and keeps getting caught out. Benny's return would be a massive boost as we can get at their defence too I reckon. Hopefully an entertaining game!

If any of our players so much as look at a hair on Michu's head, they are barred from the back of my shirt forever!!! <grr><grr><grr>

I'm saying 4-4. Michu with 4 and Cisse with 4 too <wizard>

Selected PP Match odds:
Newcastle to score a penalty @ 13/2
Moussa Sissoko to score in an NUFC win @ 10/1 Think I'll have some of this, the way he's been powering his way forward suggests he'll be getting on the scoresheet fairly regular.

Some interesting stats from the Sky Sports preview

The Swans have lost just two points from leading positions this season, the best record in the top division

The Swans have won none of the 14 games they have fallen behind in this season. However, they have managed to avoid defeat in six.

so, looks like the first goal is going to more vital than usual! Also

No team have used more players in the Premier League this season than Newcastle United (29)

Which explains a lot

Hope that the Ben Arfa unfit quotes are Pardew mind games. I remember him doing it once before when HBA had just come back from an injury - 'no he's not up to speed' etc etc... He played the full match or near enough. Last week Pardew was quoted saying that Ben Arfa had come back from France in great condition... Now it's terrible, he's been protecting his hamstrings and his fitness levels are not even nearly good enough.

I'm probably clutching at straws, but I really hope Pardew is being sneaky.

I was thinking this as well. It does seem strange that he was looking really fit, following his time at Clairefonaine. But now he's struggling?!

Let's hope it's the same as when Pardew continually stated HBA would not play against Spurs for the season opener. Then started the game and scored the winner! :D

Am I right in thinking that was the game he got injured in leading to this lay-off; or was that a different time?

Perhaps we'll see him against Anzhi and Pardew's just playing games with them?

It's going to be a tough fixture tomorrow, Swansea will be on a high, the supporters will be up for it also, I'd be more than happy to take a point.
