We havea 15 goal plus goal scorer.

Cisse has been played as a striker since January. He has 8 goals. Even on his current form, he is comfortably good for 15 per season played as a striker. In fact, I expect him to be very close to it by the end of this season

Without Ba, we need Cisse to tun into a 20+ goalscorer, or for the likes Sissoko, Ben Arfa, Gouffran + Cabaye all to be getting about 8 each per season.

Cisse is papiss poor as an all round striker, I think we're all realising that slowly... On current finishing ability, ending up on 10 would be welcome. "Played as a striker since January" is a lie, he's been playing in cups and Europa etc as a striker all season, and has often been moved more centrally in games where he wasn't starting as a CF, or indeed subbed on to play CF. His quality has been consistently poor, and he's had plenty of very easy opportunities to score a lot more goals this season, from whatever position you think he's playing in. We desperately need a first-choice starter in the next window to take his birth.

The lad's a maverick, he scores worldies on occasion, but he's not someone you can hang your hat on. And Gandalf has an enormous hat which requires a more reliable hatstand than most! Why does he score worldies and miss the sittermost of sitters? Because he insists on blasting almost everything. Odds are if you smack the cover off a few balls, they'll hit the roof of the net!

Having said all that, I like Papiss as a player and a person. His enthusiasm and puppydog zeal for the game is refreshing, and while he's destined to be referred to in the same sentence as Obafemi Martins, he's given us all a lot of memorable moments along the way.

hmm, so Cisse's problem is he's not getting any off the pitch either?

Oh to go back to the old 2-3-5 days, goals from everywhere.

At the end of the day it's goals that win matches, not clean sheets.

Very much appreciated, our board is still in a state of shock but its good to see we've been inundated with fans of so many clubs including Newcastle United.

Thank you again for showing true class.

No problem Dilligaf. Incredibly sad incidents like this make us all human and we can forget any form of rivalry (where there is any). Life is more important.
I just hope he pulls through and can make something of his life again. <ok>
