There are many players of Wilsheres quality in Barca reserves according to Guardiola so I'm sure Barca can just call them up to the first team and leave Wilshere at Arsenal.
http://news.arseblog.com/2013/02/ma...gnews (Arseblog News - the Arsenal news site) Mannone wants out. Can't blame him, really. Despite his form, Chensey won't be dropped, so Mannone is not going to get any game time. Also, in the summer, I would invest in a proper keeper anyway.
Hey! Little mama, Ooh, you're a stunner Hot..little figure, Yes, you're a winner And I'm so glad to be yours, You're a class all your own
I can't see him being a good coach. I know he's a living god, but he doesn't strike me as an authoritarian, someone who can give people a kick up the backside if they're under-performing.
Got to agree with Kyle. Can't really see Henry being a great coach for some reason. But, he would be one hell of a club ambassador for us like Bobby Charlton is for Man Utd, should he want a role at the club.
I don't know. I really don't think we can tell how good he might be. Don't forget that there are many types of coaches. He might be better as a skills, one on one coach than a team drill type coach.
Is Mohamed Diamé the man we need in our midfield? I watched the WH v Spurs game and I have to say, the man was simply beastly. He has that Yaya Toure way about him where players bounce off him while he powers through. For me he would make an ideal player to protect our back four and provide a link with our midfield. He has good technical ability, great strength and very good tackling ability. Also he is useful going forward if necessary. This will also allow our more attacking midfielders comfort to attack. Wilshere for one won't be needed to run up and down like a yoyo so much.
On the Ja match threa alot of West Ham fans were saying he played crap. I only go back during the last 30 minutes of the game so I don't really know.
Diame is certainly a talent. He is more of a box to box player though and is a risk because he has a potential heart condition. I have to say though I think Wanyama at Celtic would be an even better buy. The guy can defend, is strong as an Ox an technically good enough to play our style of football.
He was decent. Just by watching him you can see he has outstanding attributes that would be beneficial to a top club like us. Also WH fans need to get some perpective. Spurs are a superior side and it's not like Diame has quality around him. One of their best players is an over-the-hill, that no one wanted, Joe Cole.... Also, wasn't he one of Wenger's possible targets?
Buying Diame would confirm we don't want to compete at the top level. I'd be happy with Wanyama, and maybe Capoue, but not Diame.
Totally agree about Diamé. Not sure what others saw in him during the match, but to me he was average, certainly not outstanding. I would have made Jarvis their outstanding player on the night.
He wasn't outstanding but he certainly has outstanding attributes. There were a few occasions where he steam rollered past players like Yaya does. I would dearly like to have a big strong DM protecting at the back. I can't imagine why we can't have it and still carry on being a potent attacking force. Many teams have it yet carry on scoring. Real and Barca are two teams that score a huge amount yet employ DMs.
I'd still rather we tried to sign Capoue again from Toulouse. He can play DM or CB, both areas that need strengthening in my opinion. I think Toulouse would have sold him to us in Jan had they been able to find a replacement.
