More to the point the incident mentioned was caused by a Leeds fan leaving the ground through the away end and taunting people, I was about two rows away from it when it happened.
Couple of powder puff punches from each side, then they we're broken up and sent home, a nothing incident well dealt with.

Not bad little earners for the SMC, although any Hull or Rovers fan would tell you it's disappointing the numbers are dropping, but the fixture is played to death these days (four a year minimum).
In 2007 we played twice at home v Hull KR with crowds of 23002 & 23004 and in 2008 it was 21283.

As I understand it yes, the figures are based on the attendances at the previous grounds.
Putting aside the Johnny Whitely row, would you say it's time both teams renegotiated the lease agreements with the SMC. What I mean is neither team has this restriction of the SMC taking profits from gate receipts above a certain crowd level, but simply pay a fee for rental of the stadium, which doesn't include these premier passes and bar subsidy for Hull FC or things for Hull City, but includes cost for renting stadium, police, equal picture hanging in the stadium etc. That way we have far more transparency and neither club can say the other is getting one over them in their agreement. Sound fair?

We'd be better off financially and the SMC would have funds to carry out the repairs the last regime neglected. FC would be in financial difficulties though.
Which is exactly why the Allams should get the stadium. Fair for both teams and for the SMC to operate sufficiently would be tough for FC to afford, if the football club owns the stadium it's our responsibility to repair and FC would be able to just chip in at a cost which is affordable to them and help relieve some of the burden from the football club. Everyone's a winner.
What I meant by that was that if the council had put restrictions on how the SMC could be run then that mortgage would never have been possible. Surely as leaseholders for a property they have the right to restrict what that property can be used for and how it's funding can be managed.
Don't think the lad has quite grasped that. If he had he wouldn't be so keen to bite the hand that is feeding Hull FC.
I don't think Hull FC would to be honest, the extra revenue created by keeping all the gate receipts would more than offset any rent increase in a new agreement.

No. Quite simply, FC can't afford it. The Allams should not ever now support FC in any shape, way or form. There's only one side that's acted like a bunch of arseholes in all of this and ultimately they'll pay for that. Karma baby.
I think it'd be better if we just found a more suitable stadium for one of the clubs to move to. Ideally FC.
Burnsy was talking to Ehab before the game about the situation, off the record. Burnsy said on Blunderside that there was no turning back from the Allam's stance.

Mark, the money both clubs pay at the moment goes to the SMC and nowhere else, but isn't enough to fund operations. Any changes would need both clubs to pay more. FC currently are subsidised by Hull City, so a 'fair' arrangement has to leave FC paying much more than they are now. Based on what's in the press, they'd be looking at £500,000 more.

He reckoned Mr Allam wanted the KC as it was a money spinner. It should be a piece of piss for Geraghty to lead the plans for the Council to do it themselves, after all they're millions in front as they already own all the land in question and surely know they need to do something with it.
