Hamit Altintop keeps getting banged around, anyone know his age? Would he be useful or squad player? Also, anyone know about Chantome from PSG? If I remember right, he is that play-making CM we are looking for and I think he is only 22-24 somewhere in there.
 
Hi a Hull fan here. We had Ayala on loan from you at the start of the season and our chairman has said he's on our list for a possible perm move. Anyone heard anything at your end, or is it not on the cards?
 
Hamit altintop is about 28 I believe. Never seen him play apart from maybe the odd bayern game in the CL where I wasn't paying attention to any specific player. He seems the sort you'd have on the bench and bring on later for a bit of craft. Bit like Benayoun I think. Would be a decent squad player for a reasonable price.
 
Have you heard about the reports linking Liverpool with Marko Marlin....'The German Messi''.He's the right age for what FSG are looking for as he's only 22.

Nothing has been said yet, I'd like to see him given a go at first team here but only the coaches know if that will happen or not. If he isn't getting games I'd like him to go on loan at a prem team.
 
One can only hope KPR, after the season Bremen had he might go a bit cheaper as they have fallen by the wayside.
 
How many wingers do City want? Do they have scouts or just think 'Oh, plenty of teams are after him. Stick a zero on the end of whatever's been offered and we'll give him a game or two.' They're fast turning into Real Madrid.
 
Rumour on the talkSPORT website is that Rennes are going to fight to keep their highly-rated midfielder Yann M'Vila. We have been linked with him along with Manchester United and the Arsenal. Rennes are understood to be planning to fight very hard to keep him in France for at least another year. He has a contract till 2014 so if we are serious about signing him, we are going to need a pretty big bid to entice him to Liverpool.

Damien Comolli could be the key here.He knows french players and the french league inside out,if anyone can entice him into believing in Kenny's ''project'',he can.

Yeah, couldn't agree more. I still think Rennes determination to keep him and his contract which runs till 2014 could be a stumbling block. A substantial bid would be needed.
 
I got this on my facebook page,I don't know how much truth is in it though that Damien Comolli has approached Marseille about the possibility of signing Andre Ayew.He's been on the radar for a while.How much is in this I'm unsure.
One definite signing that has gone through and it has been mentioned on this board before was Alex O'Hanlon.He's regarded as being Irelands top young talent and is 15 years old and Liverpool have signed him from St Kevins boys.He's been targetted by Real Madrid,Arsenal,Chelsea and Man Yoo.But we've beaten the lot to his signature.St Kevins boys have over the years produced Damien Duff and Liam Brady.
 
I've read one or two reports of Ayew. Not seen much of him though so I can't really say anything about it. I'm sure anyone coming from the French league will have been heavily researched though, with Comolli's links, and with this in mind I half expect there to be one.
 
A lot of talk regarding Diego of Wolfsbug flying about today. Reports say his price has been axed to around 10 million Euros, or £8.8m. Would be great at that rpice if he could refind his Bremen form.

I do agree with you, but would Parker be prepared to sit on the bench more often than he plays? We've got Gerrard, Spearing, Lucas and Meireles in the middle of the park. Personally, I think he'll go to Spurs.
