Again linked to Negredo. As another option I would definetely take him as he adds some size but maybe not as big as Carroll and more mobile. But at 15 mil? that seems a bit for a 3rd option. Below 10 i would say go for it but I feel that 15 could be used to get a top winger, CM, or LB.

Hi kph103. Not really sure about N'Zogbia. Can be a bit hit and miss at times. On his day, he's a crackin player but when he has his off days, he's useless.
Welcome! Although I think he's a good player I think we can probably afford better to be honest. We need a real class winger, Nzogbia has only ever really attracted mid table clubs.
fiar enough its just whenever i have seen him play he looks a good player and a real threat. On another point just watched some of the reserves game against Man Utd.Some decent looking players for Liverpool but Paulson still looks pants and Joe Cole..well I don;t really know what to make of him.So pleased when he signed but could well turn out to be the biggest let down with the exception of Harry Kewell
Yeah, on his day, N'Zogbia can look pretty good. I just feel that he doesn't have the really good days often enough. And Joe Cole... Well, what can I say? I completely agree with you. When we signed him, I think the majority of Liverpool fans thought it was an excellent signing. But it just didn't work out. Being sent off on your league debut doesn't help though...

Rumour on the Daily Mail website is that we are pondering a bid for Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel because Arsenal might be planning to put in a ã20M offer for Pepe Reina. Friedel is out of contract in the summer and could consider to return to a resurgent Liverpool side. (For the record, I think it's a awful rumour. Not going to happen. Talksport saying we might go for Shane Long as a back up striker. I've always rated this guy (not just because he's Irish!), he's really come into his own in the championship this year, scored 23 goals this season and I think he'll get even better at a better club. Will also cost nothing and he just turned 24. Also has some premier league experience with Reading a few years ago
