    For once this is a clever ploy by Ashley. He publicly states we are after Gourcoff. Arsene and 'Arry take an interest and attempt to steal in. then Mike says "oh sorry, I meant Gouffran - oh and by the way, he's already signed!" Job done!

    Why are we so bereft of candidates for such commemoration these days? Think Demba would have been prime candidate, had it not been for a lot of people blaming him for our downfall... Then he left and they realised he wasn't...

    Actually, maybe it's all this acclaim that makes other clubs notice and then they leave us.



    Hmmm, how about National Nile Ranger Day, seeing as he is so amazing and we're so lucky to have him and don't want any other club (ESPECIALLY QPR - did I say that loud enough?) to come in for him.
