Obviously not all single children turn out to be brats. However, i stand by my comment that they can stand out, much in the same way that a child from a large family can too. It is the way they interact with others.

Dev (Gerrez, Gerraz, whatever) has got a Freudian fixation with bodily functions.

I knew a woman once who had four kids, and just before my ex was about to sprog, this girl tried to comfort her by likening it to having a massive dump.
Not sure it worked.
Bit harsh on the kids as well.
