OK, I've dyed and combed my body hair into swirls and circles, DAVE it didn't help me to log on!! <giggle>

When I clicked on log on at the top of the screen, the 'remember me' box just underneath it was already ticked, so I didn't bother to look any further. As I normally only use half the screen, (I use the other half for work) I didn't see the other remember me box below where I logged on!!!

Thanks Wonky, for the prompt, I was getting a bit snotty after having logged on 7 times, I just hope it works properly now.

Hello!

Is there a way to alternate the colours of names (see example below) in a table in a speedy and efficient way?

I mean like this:

CPL Premier

1. Hucks for Manager!..... 500 pts
2. canary-dave.............. 10 pts
3. Maestro.................... 3 pts
4. colu_mike................. - 16,000 pts

I'm thinking of revamping the CPL tables, you see - but the way I just did what I did (highlighting one name, selecting a colour, highlighting the next name down, selecting a colour...) would take too long! Thanks in advance, although I appreciate there may not be a way.

 

I would guess the easiest way would be to make the tables in an excel spreadsheet, where you can apply that kind of formatting easily, then printscreen, save the image and upload it?

 

That would certainly make them the most presentable, but I'm not sure I'm quite computer-literate enough to do that - Excel drives me crazy. Thanks for the help DH, but I might keep them as they are for now.

That sounds cool. But I don't want anything too OTT; basically just alternating yellow and green names - but the yellow needs to be readable. Other than that, if you could just make things really neat and tidy, perhaps by putting the names into an actual table, that's all I really need.

Could you also send the completed thing back to me so I can post it? I'll give you tons of credit though, don't worry.

All that's left to say is thank-you ( and if you're having second thoughts then don't worry) and, if it's OK, we'll start after the Sunderland game!
