Help! Very off-topic, but I'm looking to replace media monkey with a media player that will allow me to play all 4000+ of my music files on random play without having to create playlists, which seems to be the only way forward with Windows media player. Also one which will allow me to use trippy visualisations, without having to download too much in the way of potentially risky stuff ( DirectX 3D accelerated display adaptors) to enable them to work. I've tried Winamp in the past, but not overly user friendly, I didn't think. Any suggestions welcome thanks

Any techies help with this, my outlook site for sending and receiving emails, until yesterday, notified me of any incoming DM's and favourites on twitter but since last night has stopped doing so! I have NOT changed my settings or altered anything. Any ideas please!
What exactly do you mean by "outlook site" dave? Do you mean Microsoft Office Outlook, the Office email client?
Yes Robbie I google hotmail and log in and it sends and receives emails and notifies me when someone has DM'd me on twitter or posted on a facebook post that I've commented on! The notifications are now not happening!
OK, so you actually use hotmail (which is web mail), not Outlook (which is part of the MS Office suite and downloads emails to or sends emails from your PC or laptop as opposed to via your web browser (which I think you said is Chrome)? I don't use Hotmail, so I can't really help, but the first thing would be to look in the Junk Mail folder to see if the notifications are being intercepted as junk and put in there. But there are plenty of Hotmail users so maybe someone else can be more help.
In the space of the last two minutes I've received a DM with no notification and a post on fb which WAS notified! ?????
In that case I would think Hotmail has some sort of issue and it will be sorted out in due course. You can be sure they will be bombarded with complaints. Whatever, to me it doesn't sound like anything you have caused or can rectify, just Hotmail. Mind you, I'm usually wrong ......
I expect they've long since diverted any e-mails addressed to their support team to their junk mail folder ..........
Why am I seeing posts such as the following? Try and defend this. ... Presumably the ... is supposed to be a link to an external webpage? but no link actually shows. This is only something I have seen in the last month or so.
I've tried several times in the last day or so to update my signature. I save the updated signature on the Edit Signature page and the new signature appears correctly in the preview. But when I look at my posts the old signature is still there. This is recent since I've not had any problem in the past.
When we first had an influx of Vine videos I couldn't watch them, I got a message telling me to download the necessary equipment! Well, I never downloaded anything, but for the past few days I've been able to watch them. Have they changed their criteria?
I was allowed to watch the first goal on Sunday, but when I tried to watch Grabbans and Tettys they would not load, saying web site not available. I do not know if this is because of my location, I often get messages on videos saying "not available in your location" but did not get this message.
Quick way to eliminate cookies as a problem, install another browser you won't use regularly or just test with IE if you don't use that and try again with a different browser. If it works then go back to the one you were using and clear out the temp files & cookies
