MON just said that SB hasn't asked about FC in any conversations and that there are a number of reasons why the rumour is not true......
I cant believe all the numptys on twitter moaning about FCs 7mil price tag. Some people will believe anything...
I'd have him back easily, if he stays injury free he will bang them in. He is better than most strikers in the championship. My only concern is his lack of loyalty. I'd almost rather get him on loan. He gets us promoted (gets a bonus on the way) and he gets shown in the shop window before contract runs out. If we sign him, not to mention his wages, there'd always be the thought of him jumping ship as soon as a "bigger" club came sniffing.
Circa, I don't think that there are many footballers who are loyal, and who wouldn't consider jumping ship as soon as a bigger club came along if they were offering bigger salary etc
i know what you're saying but most players do so within certain circumstances, huge increase in salary, issues at the club, winning trophies etc... I just wouldn't be surprised if Fc jumped ship to a club that wouldn't necessaruly pay more, achieve more or help his career (like aston villa for example)
And who could blame him, think about for a second, not you BCC but the FC detractors, if it was you and you had Brown & Duffeejut chasing you're signature you'd probably be desperate for some other club to offer you an option, the appearance of Bruce & Quinn must have appeared like a gift from God!
I agree, but I think he might just consider that to get his stock enhanced then a step down, is the best way to get up the ladder.
Don't be kidding yourself, FC is worth at least £5million... yes injury prone but so is rvp and man u paid full amount. If he wasn\t injured in his recent career he'd be in the england squad battling with welbeck.
