Yeah, I live in Kharkiv. Atmosphere is one of the best in Ukraine (possibly, the best). We have cool stadium and great fan traditions.

Hostel? come on. How easily you believe in tales even without seeing it by your own eyes

You're English is excellent man, how come you've decided to post on our board? Do Kharkiv have a forum like this (I could use google translate on <laugh>)? You going to stick around when we've knocked you out? Always good having new members joining in from different backgrounds!

Last time someone said that I ended up being forced to make love with sheep... Not going back to Sunderland again!

So that was you they were talking about. I had no idea till now. I bet DT wasn't very happy with ewe!

The Ukranian ladies are all like supermodels apparently. tall, sexy :)
Went to Poland last year and they are all hot over there too.
No many red haired ladies though.

My two sisters in law are Polish, don't think they'd win any beauty competitions though. Good job they don't know what my user name on here is.

I do know one Polish girl that works near here and she's a bit of a stunner though.

All three are natural blondes.

Ollie Bernard's view on our draw:

I wonder how Papa Gueye from Senegal is playing in Metalist.

I wonder how Taiwo is playing in Dynamo Kiev.

Seem to be terrible for Willian to become a star in Shakhtar. Maybe it's all because racism of UA fans he scored only once against Chelsea.

In Kharkiv, lot of african students are studying, you can see them in the street.

What is the problem? As a ukrainian citizen, I do not understand all this.

Mister Bernard, in England, racism is much more problematic than in Ukraine.

Don't worry about what's said in the press. Talk's cheap and people will say anything to fill a column up.

A little something from NUFC.com about the game.

The draws for the Round of 32 and Round of 16 of this season's Europa League were staged on Thursday, with former Magpie Patrick Kluivert drawing Newcastle with Metalist Kharkiv of the Ukraine, whose stadium is nicknamed the Spider due to its external framework.

That lands Alan Pardew, his side and supporters with a round trip of over 3,300 miles to the city of Kharkov in Eastern Ukraine, where February temperatures are routinely below freezing.
Update - the UEFA.com website shows our Round of 32 fixtures as follows:

14 February 2013 Newcastle v Metalist 21.05 CET
21 February 2013 Metalist v Newcastle 19.00 CET

England is one hour behind CET so SJP KO is 8.05pm GMT, while Ukraine is one hour ahead of CET so KO in Kharkiv is 8pm Ukraine time (6pm GMT).

This will be United's third visit to Ukraine, following ties against Dynamo Kiev in October 1997 (drew 2-2) and September 2002 (lost 0-2). Kharkov lies some 265 miles to the east of Kiev and less than 30 miles from the border with Russia. There's no visa requirement for Ukraine.
