Metalist Kharkiv, pretty good side, lots of Brazilians too. Were in the same poule as PSV Eindhoven last year, boring counter attacking football with at times pretty decent football.

Was going to say, from the list Freddd put out on them I only recognise a few and they are all Brazilians haha
 
Tough ask away in the Ukraine. Its a while away so hopefully we'll be better positioned in the league so we can attack the ties with our best. Could have been worse, could have been better.
 
Good draw for me and I am sure we will beat them and I am confident that Hannover will score at least 3 goals against Anzhi,everybody say's that Anzhi has the best defence and it's hard to beat them butt I have seen Hannover played this year and they are capable scoring goals to anyteam and I am sure they will score at least 3 and they will also go true....and then we will see.....butt there is a lot of time a head and if we are lucky with injuries we will gett true without a problem.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Terrible draw. Wanted a swedish team <wah>

As soon as I realised there weren't any swedish teams in the draw, I didn't care anymore :emoticon-0119-puke:

What sort of competition has no swedish teams left? I really question the wisdom in not pulling out of such a mediocre affair!

DT could find out about that. Then again she may not. Same terms as usual apply.
 
I'm rather happy with that draw.
Some of our players may not be too happy with what is still seen as a racist country though.

There have been lots of press stuff over here about how bad it is.

Shouldn't believe everything you read in the press I know but an Asian friend was attached in Kiev recently. His crime? His skin colour.

What are your thoughts on the draw ? Disappointed ? Excited ? Confident ? Trembling before the might of the Toon ?

I'm afraid we don't know much about you at all. What can we expect on the pitch ? And in the pubs ?

Seems to be we know you better than you know us, but just because your league is more known in world.

IMHO, the draw is quite good, because we are a good team but not always have good rivals (in Ukraine only 4 teams are good enough to be called strong). But Newcastle is a really interesting and it will be a big honor to defeat.

I think, much will depend on condition of the teams in February and your attitude to the tournament. If we'll be in good mood and form and concentrated after season break, you'll be pretty surprised on the pitch. In that case, it will not be easy for you and your chances are not so high.

We are always confident in our team, and it is also because of our results in Europe. If you want to know Metalist better, just look on youtube and look through the latest euro campaigns.

In pubs, your are welcome! just come and you'll not regret

Yeah, I live in Kharkiv. Atmosphere is one of the best in Ukraine (possibly, the best). We have cool stadium and great fan traditions.

Hostel? come on. How easily you believe in tales even without seeing it by your own eyes
