Today, QPR have been linked with him already!

I'd take him. I know we wanted him last year and he chose Arsenal but he hasn't exactly been first choice. Good in the air and would fit with Gyan IMO

    Your thoughts?

Good player. Think it will be hard to lure away from london.
From what's been reported it's more than likely gyan is leaving.
To be fair you can't blame the lad when he is getting ****e service
    from our non existent midfield!

He's a good player, but the facts are he took the piss out of us and used us as a bargaining tool.

He's hardly been a roaring success either.

Big wages I imagine, shame we didn't get him straight from Bordeaux... Agree with the diver, Him and Blanc made a mockery of the club. How about we take his old strike partner from Bordeaux... You might have heard of him, David Bellion :emoticon-0112-wonde

    Yeah on loan.

He's bloody dreadful. Fast as anything with a midas touch.

By that I mean he looks like he's kicking a ball made of solid gold.

No chance, the lads attitude stinks and I'd imagine he'd have unreal wage demands.

Wenger still has plans for this kid, how could you drop RVP after 17 goals in 18 games or something.

Plus after this season why would he come up here other than money. Rather have Doyle from Wolves

Why would he leave? Why would you want him to?

Completely agree with this, why anyone believes we would get a player who both he/or his agent whichever way you look at it, thought he was too big a player to play at a club like Sunderland.

Can't exactly picture him being the sort of player to give a flying **** when involved in a relegation battle!

Doyle would be a good call. Hardworking, leads the line well, decent in the air, scores a few and can play as a lone striker. Probably be available if Wolves relegated.

His agent said he'd only come here if there was an earthquake, or something like that. If he did come, would it just be for the cash? It would be pointless if he was always on the lookout for a "bigger" club, cf our old chum Darren Bent.

I wouldn't want Doyle either, though. He's a trier, but seems to lack that little bit of class. Should get more goals than he does IMO.

Yes, I too like Doyle. The lad is a grafter, causes defenders problems and is strong. I agree that he could do with scoring a few more, but he is definately a team player who would fit right in at our club with his admirable attitude. I think he would become a fans favourite purely because of his work rate. SAFC love players who give 100%.

Doyle single handedly murdered us down there this year.
