Good player. Think it will be hard to lure away from london. From what's been reported it's more than likely gyan is leaving. To be fair you can't blame the lad when he is getting ****e service from our non existent midfield!
He's a good player, but the facts are he took the piss out of us and used us as a bargaining tool. He's hardly been a roaring success either.

Completely agree with this, why anyone believes we would get a player who both he/or his agent whichever way you look at it, thought he was too big a player to play at a club like Sunderland. Can't exactly picture him being the sort of player to give a flying **** when involved in a relegation battle!
Doyle would be a good call. Hardworking, leads the line well, decent in the air, scores a few and can play as a lone striker. Probably be available if Wolves relegated.
His agent said he'd only come here if there was an earthquake, or something like that. If he did come, would it just be for the cash? It would be pointless if he was always on the lookout for a "bigger" club, cf our old chum Darren Bent. I wouldn't want Doyle either, though. He's a trier, but seems to lack that little bit of class. Should get more goals than he does IMO.
Yes, I too like Doyle. The lad is a grafter, causes defenders problems and is strong. I agree that he could do with scoring a few more, but he is definately a team player who would fit right in at our club with his admirable attitude. I think he would become a fans favourite purely because of his work rate. SAFC love players who give 100%.
