Wow, what a massive, delusional, arrogant rant.
I think that's the sort of thing that HIAG is talking about, funnily enough! <laugh>

  3. Hey, Tool65...

What you have to appreciate is that we Spurs fans are now disappointed when we don't finish 4th in the EPL. I think that's the level that we expect from our club, and when you've finished 4th, 5th, 4th over the last three seasons, and are in contention for 4th this season, I believe that we Spurs fans are justified in our expectations.

None of us Spurs fans expect any European adventure to be gifted to us, and we all accept that winning either the Europa or the Champions League will take time. We do have a European pedigree that stretched back further than 'Pool's own, so it is something that is in our blood.

It isn't our fault that 'Pool has been on a downward spiral since during the days of that clown, Benitez, so please don't blame us for it. Having said that, of course, our resurgence has undoubtedly been a contributing factor in pushing and keeping you out of the top 6 clubs, but you can probably say that about Everton and the Toon, now. I would say that you are now more on a par with the likes of Fulham and WBA, although probably better, in truth, than the likes of Villa or Sunderland.

I know it's painful for you to accept, because you probably only started supporting 'Pool because it was a successful club, but being a fan is about taking the rough with the smooth. You've had your success (in the 70s and 80s), now it's time for you to struggle for a decade or two. Accept it with dignity and humility. Your ranting at us is unseemly and juvenile. You'll feel better for it, and we'd respect you more.

I don't think he cares... in fairness to him he's still being paid a lot of money, so he probably doesn't feel the need to change.

Couldn't agree more. I know we all like to get on the backs of opposition players but i don't really see why they are expected to be paragons of virtue. They're young men earning millions of pounds and feted by the world. If that was me I doubt I'd be too bothered about how i behaved provided, of course, that it didnlt impact upon performance on the pitch.

I would expect them not to bite people though! I don't expect them to be saints as I wouldn't be but I would like to think I wouldn't be like Suarez.

  8. I think these players do have some pride, and won't like to be labeled as cheats, like Suarez often is. Gerrard has cleaned up his dirty act a lot, since the media and the public got on his back for his diving antics.

£40 for a style of shirt that went out of fashion ten years ago.

Still better than Man Utd's home strip, though...

    Same here. Well, Southern League...

Going back to the Anfield Shirt, surely the photo used for it is Photoshopped? I've never seen a blue sky in Liverpool in my life!

I know most of us will defend everything about our clubs to the death, and for once I'm ot going to make any snide comments about the fanbase, but surely no Liverpool fan will be able to say they like that or are going to buy it - it's hideous. Thank God Watford's merchandising is non existent these days as I'd be mortified to see our building site printed on a shirt <yikes>

I remember skate companies making similar shirts about ten years ago...yeah, that's the thing, they haven't done it since.

I'm actually wearing a rather nice Liverpool top right now, from the online store. Black, red and white trim... Looks very smart.
