Ironically you'd need a ferry to get to the Durham passport office right now...

All the footballers moaning about traffic this morning... I wonder how they'd feel if they saw some of the freshers trying to drive their cars near St James' after a Newcastle match <laugh>

Ferry across the Wear? Could be a song in there somewhere.

Yeah, the three/four games I do make it to a year don't come cheap by the time you pay for flights, accommodation etc, not that I'm complaining mind! Never seen the toon lose either and I've seen us play the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. Only been to one away game though, the FA cup game down here when we were in the Championship, was disappointed with the atmosphere from our end that day, we drew 0-0 (very poor game to be fair) but was hoping with me being in amongst our away fans for the first time there'd be plenty of non stop chants, but it was pretty flat for some reason.

I've just come on here to make a thread about Lee Cattermole getting sent off, but two people have beaten me to it! Good news travels fast, I guess

Well lads, tomorrow night I'll have been 9 days without a drink.

I've worked 5 days in a row, and tomorrow I'm working my 6th, and unless I need to cover the day after, I'm having a drink.

I've had to look at too much filing and data, it pissed me off.

The last time I went this long without a drink, I was buzzed a half of my drink.

    :)

Rofl, I dunno. I'm basically just making the typical "aaah long week at work, I need a drink" posts :)

I think people over exaggerate my posts a bit much. I hardly post about it every day.

Still doesn't mean you don't over mention, don't think I've ever heard other people tell us how often they drink.

Well, I see the "tash pokes pigeons", "tash rims chimps", "tash 69's giraffes" in the tags all the time, on nearly all my articles, and I get some people giving me **** and 1 starring my articles.

I think I'm entitled to post a little bit on the drink when I'm in a good mood. You could easily ignore it :)

If you ever get the chance, try amaretto and coke. It tastes exactly like cherry coke. Lush.

From the BBC 'Gossip Column' page:

"Former Bolton manager Sammy Lee, 53, is a contender for the vacant post at Bury."

Now I'd have thought Sammy Lee was a bit too short and fat to be a post. But good luck to him anyway.
