I played @ school sgt (was captain) then lost interest ( football was my main sport) got rekindled to the game aged about 28 with a local club.

aged about 35, got me first ever ton, then decided me knees were giving up, should have got one the year before 83 no , then the rain came.

oh well enjoyed every minute.

I quit playing a few years ago because I just didn't enjoy playing anymore. I had one good year at Stafford when I took 40 odd wickets in a season for the Under 17's, 3rd and 4th teams respectively. My highlights for the season getting 9-57 (getting my name in the Newsletter in the process!!) and 5-15 on a dream of a pitch for a spinner (which is what I was, mind you I spun the ball about as much as Ashley Giles!!)

Yes good win Jub. One thing I'd like to add is that the team we put out in our last game consisted of 10 Yorkshire borns and 1 South African. I'm quite proud of that. Our 2nd game of the season starts tomorrow. Much tougher game against Durham. They have a very good team plus one of the brightest prospects in the country currently, Ben Stokes, so we'll need to keep him quiet, although they have many players who will make it tough for us. It's a game between 2 of the Championship favourites. We'll need to be at our best to win the game.

This time 5 days ago I was feeling as elated as I have ever been. Right now though I feel as awful as i've ever felt because of something to do with sport. The cricket team I support, Yorkshire, started the day on the verge of a thumping victory, we've just ended the day on the end of a thumping defeat. What we have just suffered is the cricket equivalent of being 3 nil up with 15 mins to play and losing 6-3. Utter humiliation. I feel just so dejected right now. I might need a few drinks and plenty of listening to The Smiths and Morrissey tonight.

Hey sarge. Not a biblical person myself, so haven't even" celebrated" easter and doubt i will tbh.

Eeeeeeeek! Sorry to hear about the cricket, if its depressing music your after to boogie on down to its radiohead, r.e.m, nirvana that your'e after. Real slit your wrist stuff.

A former football scout I follow on Twitter who sometimes gives out snippets of transfer dealings, has just tweeted this:

Stoke City interested in signing Ivan Perisic & have been watching him alot lately. #Stoke #football.

I don't know a lot about him, except from a quick Wikipedia search that he's an attacking midfielder/forward.

I know there are a couple of more sad Nirvana songs, this being the main one that I can think of:

But that's not what they're really known for, this is more like it:

I don't think there's much anyone could tell me about Nirvana that I don't already know

aaaaah potterpistol.. but did you know that kurt cobain is an extremely good looking man...? ;) hahah sorry thats the female coming out in me..

And my phone wont show the videos. I'm assuming one of them is "smells like teen spirit" and they also did one called, i hate myself and i want to die, i'm not sure if any of you posted this.

Haha, well I suppose you could say he was a good looking man, that shotgun round kinda changed that. . .
I've posted "Something In The Way", the most depressing one, then my 2 favourites "Drain You" and "Very Ape". Not too much for Teen Spirit, used to be one of my favourites, until I got the Kerrang and Scuzz channels, cause they played it over and over until it did my head in!

Very good looking! Haha i'd go as far as to say HOT. and yes, such a very sad loss. He was such an influencal person.

And my faves are teen spirit, come as you are, in bloom :)
